Best American Restaurants in Larchmont

This was a revelation for us, a neighborhood restaurant with a relaxed ambiance, great food and drinks, and a friendly staff. I loved the warm Spanish guitar music. One server did not seem to understand English too well and served my daughter a cup of hot water instead of a coffee Americano that she ordered (but which was not listed on the dessert menu). He seemed to be confused about that. We had a great time. They served a free slice of cheesecake with a candle and sang "Happy Birthday" for us.

Portions sizes for the price could have been larger. But the food quality and service and hospitality are exceptional and way above standards. Also cocktails were amazing. Will definitely go back.

Lovely local Italian restaurant. Quiet on a Tuesday night. Enjoyed being able to visit w my party and linger over a long meal.

Waitstaff couldn’t have been nicer or more attentive. First class service. This was our first time at Meritage based on high recommendations from friends. Food was very good. Dessert was delicious. Only drawback in our opinion was that everything was a la carte. Side of pasta, salad, cooked veggie, etc with entree was an extra cost. Chicken paillard was good as it was served with Caesar salad on top. Also, check your bill carefully. We were accidentally charged for a bottle of wine ($60) instead of a glass of wine ($15). Of course, it was corrected immediately.

This was my second visit to Townhouse and it was excellent, once again. It was hard to choose from a menu filled with one delicious offering after another. I was with friends, and we shared a number of dishes and each one was delicious. Our server was delightful. He was attentive - but not intrusive. Loved the whole experience and highly recommend. I can’t wait to go back!
