Best American Restaurants in Hamilton

Waiter, Ben, was awesome. He took care of our group of 7 with great service. The only downside was putting all seven of us at a table designed for 5-6. It was a bit cramped trying to fit plates/food, glasses, wine and people. Overall a very nice dinner with family.

Nice place for brunch, although it takes a while to get your food, which is ok if you are taking a leisurely weekend. We probably got our food after 45 minutes of being seated (party of 5), so plan to spend maybe 1.5 hours. The food itself tasted great, with good flavors. The menu has a good range of prices, from $13 to about $20 depending on what you feel like eating. Love that the menu changes seasonally and it's always great to look forward to the creative dishes.

Amazing experience for brunch. I had the crab cake Benedict and my husband had the shrimp and grits with andouille sausage. The eggs on my Benedict were poached perfectly. The andouille was by far the best we’ve ever had. Perfect amount of spice and not gritty like most. The pineapple upside down mimosa was spot on. Can’t wait to go back for dinner.

First time visiting, very nice experience from the quaint atmosphere, food and service. We all had different menu items. The service was excellent and the food tasty. The servings were all good size and filled us up. If you’re looking for a quality meal and exceptional experience, I recommend you give the Coach House a try. I also suggest you visit downtown Hamilton to learn more about its rich history.

Being retired we have done the romantic dinners with flowers and candle light, so this was just a fun change of pace. The staff went all out to ensure that our evening was enjoyable. From being greeted at the door and being shown to our table to the red and pink tablecloths the ambiance was just right for these two seniors date night.
