- AAmyBaltimore / Maryland •2 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoCame here before a show at Kennedy Center, it is an easy 10 minute walk from there. This place is huge and can seat a lot of people. Food was excellent and came out very quickly. The decor was beautiful and I normally hate high top chairs but they were comfortable and had enough foot rests. They were very busy and seemed to be short on servers so service was a little slow as far as server checking on us but everyone was very nice and the speed in which the food came out made up for it so we still left exactly the time we planned. If in the area, I would come back here and recommend to others.More infoSixty Vines Foggy BottomPrice: Moderate• Wine Bar• Washington•4.7
- CCristinaVIPAtlanta Metro •7 reviews4.0Dined 4 days agoJoes was a great manager and checked on us a couple of times. Our server, Annie was great as well. The food was good. The scallops were delicious but a little too much mushrooms for my liking in the risotto. It was louder than I thought it would/should be, but it was fine. The tables for two are kind of small and close together with other tables of two so you are in everyone’s conversions and plates. I would go back.More infoChef Geoff's West EndPrice: Moderate• American• West End•4.3

- FFadaVIPWashington, D.C. Area •150 reviews5.0Dined 5 days agoSimply the BEST! There is a reason our dear friend requested her birthday celebration be at The Prime Rib. The delicious cocktails are prepared just to our specifications. The food is always excellent (prime rib, medium rare, done perfectly!); the service is sublime; and the ambiance is beautiful, along with the melodious sounds of the piano close by. We had a remarkable time, lost in the beauty of dining in a scene reminiscent of a long-ago and far away steak house. The Christmas decorations added to the magic. Thank you for an amazing dining experience.More infoThe Prime RibPrice: Very Expensive• American• Downtown•4.8
- MmargaretWashington, D.C. Area •2 reviews5.0Dined 6 days agoWent for Christmas dinner. Foggy Bottom was one of the two locations that had the a’ la carte menu which was why I picked the location. It was a little crowded waiting for our reservation time and they were behind but we expected that and didn’t mind. There were three of us and we all were happy with our meals. We had wings and the corn bread skillet for appetizers. The wings were really good. I’m not a fan of corn in my cornbread but it still tasted good. I had fried shrimp with fries, coleslaw and corn bread. The shrimp and fries were really good. The coleslaw was a little blah. Our other two diners had a platter with ribs, cheeseburger sliders and fried chicken and coleslaw. They both loved theirs but also were not fans of the coleslaw. The staff was friendly and professional and fast. We enjoyed talking to them and the two different sets of patrons sitting beside us. We had a great Christmas dinner despite it not being an “traditional” Christmas dinner and would come back again.More infoFounding Farmers DC: Foggy BottomPrice: Moderate• American• Foggy Bottom•4.5
