Best American Restaurants in American Canyon

Phenomenal food and excellent service Blown away with the appetizers. Gabe and Jackie were awesome serving us. Enjoyed the ambiance and the pace of the dinner

Ambiance is friendly, open, casual, comfortable. We were sat at a table with a view of the kitchen. I had a glass of sauvignon blanc and my husband had Napa beer on tap. He ordered a half order of deviled eggs as an appetizer. He said it was very good, but I wouldnt try it because it was made with pickled onions. I ordered the roasted chicken dinner that came with mashed potatoes and "seasonal vegetables". The chicken was very moist and tender with a slightly crisped skin. The mashed potatoes were creamy and delicious. I was a bit disappointed that the seasonal vegetable was just cooked carrot chunks, but it was good. My husband had italian sausage pizza. He ordered it without red onions. He read that the sausage was made there at the restaurant. He said it was very delicious. The sausage was yummy and he liked the pizza crust- a soft flatbread, a bit crispy at the edges. The drinks and food were very good and the wait staff were friendly and attentive. Prices were a bit on the higher side, but reasonable. There was an eclectic mix of dishes on the menu and a few things I would like to try, such as phad thai, pha, salmon, and my husband was thinking about the steak meal, so we will most likely be back!

Cole's chop house was as good as it has been for several years. We had just visited them over the New year and had a fabulous meal, service was great, etc. A must go to when in Napa!!

Celebrated my father's birthday here. The food was great and the service was excellent. They also accommodated our birthday cake that we brought, and they helped my sister-in-law bring it out as a surprise, and they cut it for us and served it at the end . I had the ahi for the starter and the scallops for my entree. Both were excellent. The scallops were succelent.

Our server was great. Regrettably, I do not recall her name. She was very welcoming. She allowed us to take our time to order. But after we ordered, our food came quickly.
