Best Afternoon Tea Restaurants in Playa del Rey

Have been to this tea numerous times and generally always enjoy it and feel satisfied. The tea sandwiches are always good. The tea selection was excellent, multiple delicious sounding black tea options. Don’t need fruity or green teas for high tea imo. The room is gorgeous, a fountain in the center. They used to have some couch seating but I don’t see it any more, just tables and chairs. The service was on point, we were the first ones there but our server brought things out very quickly which was nice. Everyone was friendly. Be warned parking/valet at the hotel is $30+ but you can prepay cash $25 and save a little.

The service was great, the food was good, as well as the view. The room, however, is nothing special; it is a multi-purpose room which happens to serve as a tea room for the occasion. There is unfortunately nothing in the design of the room which enhances the Garden Tea experience. To be truly successful, the Garden Tea needs its own space.

Great place to watch soccer. Very nice staff and service is good. Food is a bit overpriced and not the best and drinks are definitely up there in price, but overall a good time

Great food, tea and ambience! My sister and I very much enjoyed our tea time! It’s was a nice little getaway away from all the hustle and bustle of LA life. Located conveniently in the city, there was plenty of parking. We loved it and will be back soon.

Food was better than expected. Service by Doug outstanding the only negative was a crying toddler at the table near us but parents should know better than to bring a young child to this type of setting
