Casual but chic interior, friendly service, really good food with their own take on Sonoran cuisine. It’s loud when it gets full because of the modern acoustic - but it’s fun. Fantastic option before a concert at the Music Hall or event in the Convention Center, but don’t overlook it for just a nice bit easygoing dinner downtown any time. Ample parking on site - if there isn’t a huge public event on site.
We are Mexican restaurant, established in 2002, located in Tucson, Arizona, on 22nd and Craycroft. We are family owned and have striven to provide the community with the best Sonoran Mexican food in Tucson.
Our table was not ready when we arrived, but it was quickly cleaned up soon after our arrival. The service was exceptional. The food was delicious. We ordered the sangria and it wasn’t as good as I remembered the last time I had it, but it was fine.
Our party of 7 was seated on two tables with a booth on one side and chairs on the other. There was a ceiling speaker directly above our head which makes it uncomfortable with those wearing hearing aids.
I had made a note one of us was celebrating their 80th birthday and no recognition or mention was given by our wait staff.
this location is smaller and more crowded. We prefer the other locations with more space,
Fantastic service and very friendly staff. I highly recommend this restaurant. The menu is both traditional and atypical with a larger variety of dishes. In a world of Mexican restaurants all being the same this one stands out as being very special and unique!
Our meal was good. Excellent margaritas at a very good price at happy hour. Shrimp tacos were loved by picky eater grandson. Granddaughter didn’t like chicken nuggets. All the other enchiladas, burritos, and carne asada were very good. Refried beans were kind of tasteless. But overall a pleasant meal.
