It was absolutely enjoyable! Their HAPPY HOUR had a wide choice of reasonably priced food and drinks on the menu from 4PM - 6PM. Our waiter was helpful when asked what were customer favorites and each dish was a winner. We will definitely be making this one of our go to restaurants in Kakaako. Parking is just across the street at the Ward theatre.
Because of its one of a kind dishes brilliantly conceived and skillfully prepared, the genuine warmth and hospitality of the owners and staff, all contributing to its allure as a preferred destination, we enjoyed Kapa Hale today as always and will always make it a top choice of special places at which to dine.
We had a wonderful time at Shokudo. We celebrated my mom's birthday in a grand fashion. We are so happy that we chose to eat at Shokudo. The service was beyond excellent, with the constant attention to see if we were doing well and to fill our water glasses. The food. Oh the food was so very delicious. We peaked at the neighboring table and we order the same hot soba with tempura on the side. Super delicious. Along with this we had the mini sukiyaki. Also very delicious. And we ordered the unagi roll. My oh my was that good. And to top it off they surprised my mom with a birthday ice cream. It was a special lunch that we will remember fondly. And we will be back since we bought the 100 dollar gift card. Thank you so much to everyone at Shokudo for making my mom so happy. Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. Dana and Jeanne.

The Dotted Line delivers a unique dining experience in downtown Honolulu. Whether you’re there for a fast paced business meeting or want to slow-pace and have pau hana or Aloha Fri fun, it “is” the go-to.
Everything we ordered was flavorful. We tried here mainly because they indicated a vegetable broth used for their vegan pho. 1 of us is a vegan and the rest were not. For our vegan diner they also had a delicious tofu bahn mi and tofu spring roll. All the dishes we ordered were tasty.
They only had 1 waitress. It was busy for her so 1 of the kitchen help came out to take our order. The restaurant is pretty plain, like cafeteria style seats and table, so it was pretty casual dining.
