   We came as a group of 4, part business and part pleasure. The restaurant stayed around 25% capacity all evening. All of us have been to Copper Creek many times over the past decade. On this occasion, the visit was a complete fail due to poor service and unenjoyable food met with high prices. We had to ask for numerous items during dinner; the Server twice only took orders from two of the four members of our party before walking away. Empty glasses and used tableware piled up in the booth; drink refills were not offered. There was no checkback, which was a shame due to the unsatisfactory quality of numerous menu items. The Grilled Romaine Salad consisted of a half head of romaine, red with age throughout the bottom third and with a slimy and brown rotting spot that penetrated multiple layers of the lettuce. It was accompanied by one tiny slice of tomato and three small croutons. Entree prices were extremely high as sides are ordered separately with the carnivore selections. The Elk Medallion was small (6 oz) but partly unchewable tendon, poor quality. It was smothered in a nice blueberry balsamic reduction, but so was the accompanying steak knife - a sticky mess to grasp. The accompanying Truffle Mac n' Cheese had zero seasoning and no taste or aroma of truffle. The pasta was coated in a watery cheese sauce. The Sirloin was hammered/tenderized and looked unappealing when served. The menu did not specify this preparation. A whole quality 8 oz sirloin cooked as requested was expected. The Salted Caramel Cheesecake was sweet but brought with only one spoon. We commented that it could not be shared, but the Server did not interpret that as a request to bring more silverware. We were tired of asking for things at that point.

   We had a large group , well taken care, food was good. Get the Blacked Red fish it was great

   Always good. We only go there once a year , but we look forward to it all year long. Love this place!

   The food was excellent. However there were service issues: - first glass of “bubbly” wine was flat no bubbles - excessive wait time for entrees (30 minutes plus) - no offers to make it right ie reduced bill or complimentary dessert

   Appetizer, salad, and two of three entrees were wonderful. My ribeye, while cooked properly (rare) was tough. Service was the high point of the evening. McKaleigh was bright, cheerful, and extremely helpful.

   Excellent service. the lighting on the enclosed patio was so glaring that it was difficult to sit through. One entree - grilled salmon with 5 spears of asparagus was well prepared and very good. the special which was salmon en croute was cloying. the addition of peanut butter and jelly Brussel sprouts were interested but kind of nasty as they coated the mouth in an unpleasant way. so, the results were mixed but service was very attentive and well executed.

   Copper Creek is a fantastic restaurant. The atmosphere is excellent. The food was very good, and the service was great.

    Everything from appetizers to dessert was inventive, flavorful, and delicious. Some may argue, but I think these are the best steaks in Abilene. Dessert was decadent. But the Caesar Salad stole the show. Amazing. Thanks especially to server Mykaila, who made the evening so enjoyable.
