The Columbia is Florida’s Oldest RestaurantSM, founded in Tampa's historic Ybor City in 1905. Family-owned and operated for 119 years, the restaurant has earned acclaim for old-world charm as well as for its award-winning Spanish/Cuban cuisine and wine list.

Open 365 days a year, including all holidays and serving lunch and dinner daily.

Casual attire is fine, but we don’t allow sleeveless shirts on men in the dining room.

Flamenco Dance Shows: There is an $10 cover charge per person for guests over the age of 12.

Monday through Thursday dinner reservation times for the 7 p.m. show are 5:30, 6 or 6:30 p.m.

Friday and Saturday dinner reservations for the 7 p.m. show are 5:30, 6 or 6:30 p.m. and for the 9:30 p.m. show, seatings are at 8:30 or 9 p.m.

    Nathan the server was fantastic. The food was fine, but not memorable. It has been a good long while since I ate there, and i bragged to my family about how i recall my former meals. Sadly, most were reluctant to discuss their food, which means it was OK, but not worth a quick trip back. As for the food, the best thing we ate was the 1905 salad and the white chocolate bread pudding. So, the beginning and the end of the meal almost matched the quality of the service, which as I said was remarkable.

    I have not been to the Columbia restaurant since the start of Covid19, more people but the same great service and food. Prices are also reasonable. Consistent value from a family owned business.

    The service was very scripted and lagging. When greeted by the hostess it felt like we were a bother and ones we got to the table we were not greeted or talk to in any way shape or form for about 10min. The establishment was lively but not extremely busy for this type of interaction. The food was good as always the unfortunate part of our experience is that we have been enjoying Columbia restaurants for over 20 years we originally visited St Augustine. Then got super excited when celebrating opened as this was close to our home at the time we got to experience St. Pete over the years with our visit to the beach. But we long wanted to come to Ybor city for as long as we known the restaurant and the reality is it did not meet our expectations as far as the service we are used to receiving from this restaurant. I will be working in the area and I hope my next visit changes my expectations as this is one of our favorite family restaurants and when the children come to visit I hope it does not disappoint them as we have had very fond memories related with the restaurant name. Hope this was a one off and not the new norm. Thank you
