The Columbia is Florida’s Oldest RestaurantSM, founded in Tampa's historic Ybor City in 1905. Family-owned and operated for 119 years, the restaurant has earned acclaim for old-world charm as well as for its award-winning Spanish/Cuban cuisine and wine list.

Open 365 days a year, including all holidays and serving lunch and dinner daily.

Casual attire is fine, but we don’t allow sleeveless shirts on men in the dining room.

Flamenco Dance Shows: There is an $10 cover charge per person for guests over the age of 12.

Monday through Thursday dinner reservation times for the 7 p.m. show are 5:30, 6 or 6:30 p.m.

Friday and Saturday dinner reservations for the 7 p.m. show are 5:30, 6 or 6:30 p.m. and for the 9:30 p.m. show, seatings are at 8:30 or 9 p.m.

Reservations for dinner and the show are required. Please call the restaurant to check availability for reservations.

    We had a late lunch early dinner before heading to the airport. We've never been to Columbia to eat before, but we'll never come to Tampa again without enjoying the great experience we had on 5/27/25. Our server AJ was knowledgeable about the history of the restaurant and family. She made great suggestions, from food to drinks, she didn't miss the mark. We can't wait to go back

    The Columbia is remarkably consistent. My honey & I hadn't visited in over 20 years due to life circumstances, but we ate here twice in two days during our Tampa visit. The food was just as we remembered from the early 00's, and the service standards have also been maintained. We enjoyed the Snapper Adelita, Pompano en Papillot, and each of us had the wonderful Palomilla flat iron steak on opposite days -- it was that good! The bread has also not changed a bit, and that's ag ood thing. Thank you Columbia for keeping the flame of Spanish dining alive in Ybor. We cannot wait to return... won't take us 20 years this time!

    Went for dinner and the flamenco show. Upon arrival, stood in line way too long. Received a text saying my table was ready and the hostess told us to stand to the side and wait. We asked after about 10 more minutes and were informed there is a different entrance if you are going for the show. Once we navigated that, food and service were exceptional. Show was fun. I don't want to pretend to know how to run a restaurant that can seat 1700, but, I do believe paying attention to restroom cleanliness would be a part of someone's things to do checklist. All in all, a great place in need of a couple minor tweaks. Busy, energetic, nostalgic are words that come to mind when thinking of my 1 visit.
