Family-owned and operated for more than 116 years, Columbia has earned acclaim for its old-world charm and award-winning Spanish/Cuban cuisine.

Casual attire is fine, but we don’t allow sleeveless shirts on men in the dining room.

Join us for century-old family recipes like Paella "a la Valenciana," Roast Pork "a la Cubana," and fresh seafood specialties.

Don’t miss Columbia’s Original “1905” Salad®, prepared tableside with our delicious, freshly-made dressing, a 100-year-old family recipe of fresh garlic, oregano, wine vinegar and Spanish extra virgin olive oil.

Be sure to sample a fine Spanish wine like Montecillo or Campillo. Relax in our courtyard or Mediterranean-style dining rooms, filled with hundreds of hand-painted tiles and Spanish-style fountains.

We are a sister to the Columbia in Tampa's Ybor City, founded in 1905. Children's menu available. Open 365-days a year, including all holidays.

Love this place but completely understaffed. Took so long to get the food we took it to go.

We are Vinophiles, and travel to wine regions when we can. Wow, all we needed to do was dine at Columbia! Best wines of my 68 years and available nowhere but in this restaurant. The family has their own vineyards in Spain. Paella is commonly offered but until last night at Columbia usually a disappointing experience. This Paella? Thought I was in Barcelona!

I recommend this restaurant for the building /setting alone. It is a beautiful structure with multiple dining areas. All are wonderful. We had the white/cava sangria. It was prepared table side and was refreshing and tasty. We shared the traditional house salad. It is a must have and also prepared table side . Absolutely delicious. The salad is filling so we shared the Cuban sandwich which was perfectly prepared. Our server Nina was the best!

The absolute worst dining experience! Dirty silverware, dirty wine glasses, uncaring waitstaff and was served cold food(the rice, overcooked vegetables and lukewarm grouper). I asked to speak to the manager and when no one came I went in search of a manager. Nicole apologized and went to see what went wrong. 15 minutes the SAME cold plate of food arrived!!!! I sent it back again and when Nicole came back to check she suggested I order something else. She personally brought out a dish of hot rice and shrimp. Thanks for trying Nicole. The third attempt for dinner was hot and delicious.

Fantastic restaurant with fabulous food and great service. We actually made a reservation for the following night because we wanted to eat there again for our two-night stay in St. Augustine. We have NEVER done that before!

Everything was excellent. We were seated promptly and there is plenty of room between tables. Our waitress(Clorissa?) was absolutely great. The right amount of attention and answers to any of our questions. Serving sizes were generous. Our white chocolate bread pudding could feed 4 people!

Dissapointing! I was not impressed with The Columbia this time around. After we were seated and given menus, our waiter arrived and said hello. We ordered soup and salad and it came out 2 minutes after we were given our bread. The soup was luke warm and bland. Then 2 minutes after receiving our soup and salad the main entree arrived; which was not hot either. We never got the chance to enjoy our bread, our soup or entree as all of them were cold in the end. It's a shame that the "gettem' in gettem' out" has become the norm here. It was definitely our last time dining here.
