Clydz is a lively New Brunswick destination with a subterranean atmosphere, reminiscent of a 1920's speakeasy. At Clydz, the fare is anything but ordinary. The menu is comprised of small plates and entrees, ranging from a selection of steaks, scallops, duck, house made pastas and desserts.

The cuisine is not the only element that sets Clydz apart from the rest. The trendy bar, enhanced by fish tanks and fireplaces, offers adventurous martini and cocktail selections.

I love going to Clydz. The food is always great and the drinks are the best in the area. The bartenders here are also the best in the area. It's always a pleasure to eat and drink here. I do wish that they'd bring back more of the old menu sometimes. Especially the drink menu.

GREAT drinks, great apps, somewhat disappointing main courses. Definitely a spot to grab tapas at but would not recommend for sit down dinner.

The food was good but not great. The server was very good and attentive. Drinks were a bit light on the alcohol. Seems to have a very active bar scene.

We went to Clyde for Valentines 2025. The food was exceptional and the service was terrible. Our appetizer- oysters - were fresh and delicious but were served 10 minutes before we got our cocktails. The shared pasta - gnocchi with duck confit was also very good (maybe needed a bit more salt), as were our entrees of filet mignon and barramundi. But the timing of when the courses came out was off - we were there over three hours on a prix fixe menu with some courses arriving quickly and others taking way too long. our drinks took probably 10 minutes each time to arrive and we were often without. I ordered a limoncello with dessert but was then told that they’d need me to explain how to make it (it’s a liqueur). The price in the end was comparable to going to manhattan but the service and ambience didn’t equal that. The interior is old and in need of cleaning and repair (broken tiles, dirty carpet and ceiling tiles).

Frequently visit here. Our server Armond/Armand (not sure of the spelling) is always amazing! Friendly, helpful with suggestions, always happy when we find out he will be taking care of us.

Clydz used to be our favorite special occasion restaurant but quality of food, service and cocktails dropped dramatically. At about $90/person we did not think it was worth the money. Worst part was the service. We were popped into a small two person table in the literal center of the small room and were ignored the entire time. Server never checked on us and I had to call out for any assistance we needed. Favorite thing we ate was the fried olives which were delicious would have this again . Burata was not fresh so didn't have too much oozy center; was fine overall but not worth $17. I ordered Long Island duck breast which was way overcooked and sweet potato chips on top were soft. Partner had the linguine with seafood in white wine sauce; shrimp were way overcooked and sauce was not good. Even dessert was disappointing because they were out of the gelato specified on menu for the turnover. My go-to cocktail, the Holiday Inn, was not balanced and wouldn't have been on of my favs if that was first time I had tried the drink. I'm used to it being packed and noisy but it really affected how we could interact because we were stuck at tiny table in center of the room between 3 large parties. Didn't feel welcomed or appreciated as guests like we have in the past. We will be holding off visiting for the foreseeable future unfortunately.

Our server was attentive and listened to our requests. The food was presented beautifully and was very good. Our reservation was for 6:00 pm and we were seated immediately. By the time we left at 7:15, the restaurant was crowded and very noisy. We will definitely go to Clydz again!
