   Made a reservation over a month ago and checked in 10 minutes early with the host stand. Understandably, it was busy and they were behind schedule. After waiting 40 minutes, I asked what our wait time was and was told that we never checked in. From there, they seated us immediately but did not acknowledge the situation, while others around us are offered free appetizers or drinks and were given apologies for waiting less time than we did. Once seated, it didn’t get much better. Our server didn’t even greet us and eventually showed up to take our drink and food order all at once. Our waitress was not checking in on us, which we understood since it was busy but we also noticed others around us were getting better service and attention from her. The food itself was good, but we felt ignored the whole time dining. The cherry on top being our waitress dropping off a basket of bread at us as our entree plates were being cleared and telling us she knew she forgot to bring something sooner. At that point we were ready to leave and after waiting several minutes and trying to get our waitresses attention, we walked over to their station and asked for our desert to be boxed and for the check. I understand holidays are crazy busy.. I worked in food service so I get it and I’m very empathetic to the difficulties and am a huge advocate. However, at every step of our dining experience and by every employee we interacted with, everyone around us was being treated with a level of respect and service that we were not. Disappointing experience considering the type of restaurant and the price to eat there. We won’t be back.

   The food was excellent and the service was exceptional! Our server, Greg, was the perfect combination of friendly and efficient. We’re talking about returning to Clinkerdagger for Thanksgiving next year!

   My family and I went to Clinkerdaggers for Thanksgiving. Our waitress was wonderful however the overall experience was not. I ordered Prime Rib medium rare. It was raw. Not rare, raw. A 2 hour experience. They were very busy. I will be going back though.

   We loved our server Jessica! She was incredibly kind and just an overall joy. The calamari was crispy and hot. I loved my blood orange glazed salmon and the amalfi coast cocktail. And of course the pea salad and crème brûlée are always a must here!

   It was great! Timely and wonderful service. We celebrated our anniversary and they gave us a cute card and a free dessert!
