   Food was very good. Bread was excellent with tasty olive oil for dipping. Calamari app was cooked just right and seasoned well. Hanger steak is a small portion but was very good and cooked medium just as I asked. Rigatoni Bolognese with short rib was delicious. The warm flourless chocolate cake was just okay. Cost was reasonable. Service a little slow. Difficult to get waiter's attention. Overall I would go back. 80 out of 100

   Service was poor from the host ignoring us upon arriving despite the restaurant being empty, and our server rarely presenting to the table. Dishes and utensils on the table had dried food on them and we had to ask for new settings.

   The waitress was very nice, but then I had to send back the pastrami sandwich, which was like rubber. My wife's salad was acceptable. The hostess was not friendly upon entering or leaving. I have been there four times and will not be back.

   First time at City Cellar. We were seated at a nice booth with lots of room. We had the blackberry sangria. it was delicious. Generous serving, not loaded with fruit and ice. The cheese platter was also very good. Needed a few more crackers but there was bread on the table, so we used that. I had the duck with brussel sprouts. It was really good. My husband had the pork chop. He loved it. For dessert we had gelato and sorbet. You can get (3) different flavors if you want. We chose coconut sorbet, cookies and cream gelato and mango sorbet. We want to go back and try other things on the menu that looked good. Nice atmosphere and vibe. Service was excellent. Waiter was attentive, knowledgeable and did not rush us. The bill was not cheap, but we ordered higher priced entrees. Definitely recommend.

   Food wonderful, atmosphere wonderful, reservation service wonderful, Server, couldn’t be less attentive if he tried. It appears from his reaction, that because we didn’t order drinks we were going to be ignored all night. Besides taking our order and getting the check at the end he was non existent. The wait staff was good, cleared plates as we were done with each course. The server never asked us if we wanted more soda or water, never checked if we were happy with our food. He was very attentive to the tables around us. $100.00 for soup and sandwiches for an early diner for 2 seemed a little high, but food was excellent and would have done it again except….. Coming from Babylon to Westbury was an attempt to find something different. Babylon has many places to dine and i dont see making the trip to Westbury worth the effort. No poor yelp review coming, do not want to hurt an establishment over one server, however word of mouth will not be complementary. rs Babylon, N.Y.

   We went here for my husband’s birthday and everything we ordered was absolutely delicious. Servers were well attentive and it was a great environment. I can’t wait to go back.

   First time customer and will be sure to return. Overall everything was great. Eddie our waiter was spot on all evening. Food and drink were also delicious.

    We always enjoy this restaurant and dine here frequently. The food is delicious, and always well prepared. Great selection, something for everybody. The service is sometimes a bit uneven, but last night it was first rate. Moderately priced.
