   Citrine Cafe has become our favorite Oak Park neighborhood restaurant. Excellent food, outstanding service, and an unusual, inventive wine list. Always a treat, whether we come for a special occasion or just a weeknight nosh.

   We had a wonderful, fixed price 4 course meal and a bottle of wine. Each course was wonderful (8 in total since we each had different course). The service was fantastic, we never touched the bottle of wine, someone was always ready to make certain we had enough in our glass. The same for water. It was a wonderful evening.

   Such a nice Sunday dinner! I recommend trying the brussel sprouts, they were so flavorful! The owners were so kind and we got complimentary birthday limoncello shots! Will definitely be coming back.

   It was perfect. A cold night, and not crowded in the restaurant. Our server (new to us) was very good. I wish I could remember his name (hair pulled back, earrings). We ordered the Brussel sprouts as an appetizer. We do not like the bacon on it and the kitchen made it for us without that. It is so good. We both ordered the mushroom & cheese gnocchi. We'd never had it before and it did not disappoint. It is an excellent addition to the menu. I usually get the Moroccan beef which is superb. Again, the gnocchi was exactly perfect. Just a lovely evening.
