25 years at this "bustling" Melville hub for both "business meetings" and " family celebrations," "gracious" hosts make folks "feel welcome" as they dig into "large portions" of "delicious" Continental and Northern Italian Favorites. The first to turn a veal chop into veal parmigiana and the first to offer sushi at an Italian Bistro "crudo" Italian Sashimi. Our Sushi Chef ranked 3rd best sushi on Long Island. The Cirella family owns and operates restaurants in some very unique locations. While shopping, don't forget to look for our sister location Gastronemy located inside Saks 5th Ave in the Walt Whitman mall. Each Restaurant is managed by a family member which means you can always find a cirella around "our family serving yours" has become our slogan over the years.     The restaurant was packed. We waited a while past our reservation but the food was excellent and worth it. We were told when we received the check that a round of our drinks were comped so that was a pleasant surprise. We’ve been before and will definitely be back.

    Dean and the staff are the absolute best! Always friendly and consistent. Food is always delicious. Best sushi and Italian food around.

    We arrived about 10 minutes early and the joint was rocking, a good sign. We ( 6 of us) were shown to a high top in the bar area even though I specified a standard table. The bar was so packed somebody would have sat in my lap. We were told because of an Open Table Rez, a particular table cannot be accommodated. We asked to wait for the next table in the dining room. Bad move. We had to wait an additional 35-40 minutes to be seated. The hostess was very sweet and did her best. They were short staffed so the service was spotty at best. I will say the food was excellent. By the end of the night all was forgiven. I would go back and I guess that's what counts.

    This was my third time at this restaurant. (We go once a year) It was not as good as usual. Baked clams were ok. I had the special - Bucatini with chicken and sage sauce. Chunks of chicken were too big and did not taste grilled. Sage sauce was very watery. My friend had the veal francese(which she always gets) and said it was not as good as last time. Desserts were good. She had tiramasu and I had the fruit, cannoli cream and biscotti. Service was excellent and waiter was wonderful.

    My work colleagues and I, who were from out of town, made a reservation based on a recommendation from a local. Did not disappoint. Service was excellent and the food was delicious. Will definitely return when next in the area.
