   The food was not quality. The service was not the greatest. We saw our server 1-2 times. Didn’t come back and check after we got our food. My steak was way over cooked and sides were cold. My brothers old fashion was made with crushed ice and orange. Tasted like it was made with orange juice. Service was bare and food was not anything special. I would go to other places before I would go back there.

   This was our first time eating at Chops and it was amazing. Our server, Victor was the best and the bartender, Brenda did an excellent job with the drinks. I would definitely recommend Chops to my friends

   It was restaurant week and while I have been to Chops a few times, my friend had not. Food and service was excellent!  Off-season is the best time to go as their prices during peak are quite high. But that is typical for most restaurants located at the oceanfront.

   Alex brought a great atmosphere and great food up a notch. He was attentive without imposing on our date night. The music was on point, the food amazing, and I cannot recommend it enough.

   Me and my girlfriend came here for New Year dinner and it was exceptional. To start off our server was Victor and he was such a great waiter. Did his job well. We had the she crab soup, fried shrimp, and the market special rockfish mash and asparagus. Everything was delicious and we finished with the cheesecake. The night flowed so smoothly everything came out in a timely manner. No complaints what so ever. You can tell the staff and cooks were well prepared for the night. Thank you for a great dinner.

   The filet that I paid $85 for was not a filet. It was more like a roast.

   It was a fantastic way to celebrate our anniversary. The food was amazing. The restaurant was very pretty and our waiter Victor was very attentive to our needs.

   Traveling the mid-Atlantic and trying new restaurants has become a fantastic way to escape from work and I do it twice a month. Chops seemed to fit right in with the usual places I like. I couldn’t have been more wrong. I enjoy bar service and asked if I could be seated at the bar. I was pushed to sit at a table then a high top and I said I’d really prefer just the bar. Finding a seat was no problem as every seat was open. Bartender came after a wait and there was no greeting. No “my name is” no asking is this was our first time. Nothing. Just what do you want to drink. I asked to order an appetizer and I was expecting (my mistake) the bartender to come back and talk about dinner options as the menu says there are daily specials. After a long wait we were finally able to order dinner. I had to ask what the specials were. I found it odd. Dinner came the lobster I just compliment. Very nice. The filet was tough and had to saw thru like no other. Both our plates were substituted with a different vegetable and neither one of us were told or asked. Potatoes over whipped and very gluey like while also lacking flavor. Being handed a bill at the end I was kind blown to see a credit card fee. I PAID IN CASH- That’s wild to me. Was never asked, don’t recall seeing anything about the fee, and was given a blank stare when I asked about it. Correct me if I’m wrong but even if I paid with a debit card there should be no fee. Credit card fees are for credit cards. A simple search of fair consumer federal practices should clarify. But to not even be asked is wild. I found no value in my dinner. And calling it dinner is disappointing. I enjoy restaurants for the experience. If I just wanted to eat I could’ve ordered papa John’s across the street. The bartender completely failed on delivering. Not trying to be rude. Just open and honest from my POV

    Steak was good, chicken Alfredo not so much. Service was great and the waiter was very attentive. My wife and I decided on this place for our anniversary dinner and for the price was expecting a nice quiet environment. However what we got was more like a bar experience. But hey, I got to watch the UFC fight.
