This was a huge dining disappointment. We were left waiting for our table that we had a reservation for because the receptionist gave it to a late coming party. The food was very expensive and not good. My steak that was ordered medium rare arrived very well done. It looked like a cinder on the plate. My dining partner had the same result. The drinks at the bar were good, but wickedly expensive, 54.00 for a martini, a glass of wine and a bourbon on the rocks.

Saturday night dinner with long-time friends. Wish we had gone somewhere else for dinner as the loud techno music -- picked by the bartender -- is unbecoming for a steakhouse. Request to speak with F&B manager went unfulfilled. Steaks were cooked properly but lacked flavor and were somewhat chewy. The mushrooms and baked potato were good. From now on we'll stick to going to Max Chophouse or Rare 3001 for steak dinners out in Rochester.

The food was overpriced. We do not mind paying a premium price for good food however Charr did not deliver. Some of our food was cold. Service staff was very attentive.

Knowledgeable wait staff made narrowing dinner selections possible. Special requests honored. Able to sample wines to make a decision. Lots of variety on the menu making it possible for picky eaters to find something they liked.

As usual a good experience with great tasting food. Unfortunately my strip steak was closer to well than the medium it was supposed to be. This seems to be a recurring problem from a restaurant that hangs its reputation on their steaks

It was OK, Expensive for what you get thou. Bread was basic, Asparagus was large, Meat was cooked nicely but didn't have a lot of flavor. Loud at the time we were there, hard to hear.

The service was a 5 star experience which we’ll remember for a very long time. The team who served us was very good and attentive to our needs. The only issue was the noise level hearing other customers conversations in a small dining space.

Our waiter mark MADE the experience! He was very knowledgeable about all food/drinks. Made jokes with the kids. Just made it a good time! I got the 8oz filet cooked perfect with the au poivre sauce it was delish. Calamari was crisp and amazing. Def will be back
