                If 4.5 stars were an option, that would be my rating. The food was really, really good. Restaurant is very small, so quite cozy - if you are coming on a weekend eve, make a reservation. How have I lived in the Bay Area for 50 years and not known of Cesario’s when I have often been unsatisfied with other Union Square options? This is the place where I will come when downtown SF from now on.

                This restaurant is fabulous. We had the calamari appetizer and it was one of the best we have ever had. We each got a different special of the day and both were delicious. Service is spectacular and the prices are very fair. We love going to this restaurant and then attending a play in SF.

                Love this place! Service is wonderful. Food is mouth watering. We had their special seafood with pasta. It was delicious! Good wine selection too!

                The food and service were amazing. Unfortunately, the place is tiny so it is difficult to have a private romantic dinner. If you want a good meal in the city by union square, this place is a fine choice.

                Appetizer was great however main course even though was tasty, my pasta dish with pancetta was extremely salty. Couldn't finish it!

                We started with an excellent carpaccio and then moved to our main dishes. I had a Veal Piccata which was impeccable. However, between the Appetizer and Second, we waited for quite a while and the staff although polite, was not the most amicable.
