   We were told there would be complimentary champagne for date night with my partner and there was none. We were forgotten about a few times as well throughout the night.

   Food = amazing, delicious. Bartender and bus boy = fabulous people. Waitress = worst waitress i’ve ever had in my life. This was my first time in New York. Made a reservation for 9:45 and was unaware the kitchen closed at 10:30. First of all, waitress was extremely inattentive. When we placed our appetizer orders, we said we would be ordering pasta after. It’s 10:38 and she still hasn’t come back to the table after receiving the appetizers. I then tried to place a pasta order when she informed me the kitchen had already closed and when we brought it to her attention that we were unaware the kitchen closed at 10:30, she proceeded to just stand at the table and stare at us. No apology, no solution, nothing. I tipped her $0 the service was so bad and I always tip over 20% because I work in the service industry. Other than that, the food was so good and the bartender and busboy provided excellent service. The End.

   Tried CP’s $32 brunch, well worth it. Sat outdoors, service was quick & polite. I did the Eggs Benedict & unlimited sangria - two pitchers and the staff refilled immediately. Nice sitting outdoors on Bleecker St just before winter ends that joy again! Recommended.

   I have been there several times and always had a positive experience with great food. Tonight the atmosphere was that of a loud dark disco. It was impossible to see your food and couldn't hear my friends because the restaurant is built very live for sound. The music was extremely loud with bad, very drum heavy sound. I asked that it be lowered. After all it was 6pm, not after midnight in a dance club. And before the food arrived, the lights were turned down so low that you couldn't see your food Food was mediocre. Will not be returning.

   I can't say enough about the exceptional Carroll Place staff, who made our business dinner wonderful. The cuisine was outstanding & the some of the best NYC blues musicians were playing in the back room. Carroll Place is a keeper.

    I highly recommend this restaurant - the pizza and salad and pasta were off the charts good! I'd pass on the lasagna - not nearly as good as the other dishes. The management is super professional - and very accommodating. The wait staff is a bit inexperienced it seemed and a hard time getting us essentials (silverware, napkins, water, etc.) . But it no way made the night less enjoyable. Overall it is A+. Just be a bit patient with the service.
