Carmine's La Trattoria is the place to dine if you are looking for authentic Italian cuisine. Executive Chef Elmer Saravia places great pride in sourcing the ingredients for his dishes. Serving Palm Beach Gardens Since 1988 - We have an extensive menu featuring Italian favorites, Fresh Seafood, Prime Meats as well as Brick Oven Pizza and Flat Breads, a Full Bar and a Comprehensive Wine List including highly allocated reserve wines in a peaceful dining room and patio overlooking the marina.

We were disappointed. We were a party of 7 for a birthday dinner. We were looking forward to fine food. The menu is impressive and contains many items we like. When we made the reservation, we noted it was a birthday. The restaurant dropped this ball completely – no acknowledgement at all. The server was over-friendly and occasionally inattentive. We had to ask for olive oil, ground pepper, etc.) The food was nicely presented, but (as just some examples) the tomatoes in the caprese salad were over-chilled and underripe, the short rib was not tender, and the sautéed spinach was underdone. The desserts (key lime pie; chocolate lava cake; tiramisu, etc.) were commercial, and at these prices, we should not be expected to box our own take home. (I should have picked up on a red flag; if “dover sole” is offered at a fixed – and overly-low – price, not market, it’s not the real deal.)Is this helpful?

We went for Sunday lunch. We both had abundantly sized sandwiches which tasted wonderful and fresh. The Italian wedding soup was perfect. The Tiramisu was delicious. The server was excellent and the ambiance was excellent. A very good experience.Is this helpful?

We went for my birthday dinner. It was one of the best Italian dinners we have ever had. The oysters and lobster bisque were great. We had chicken parm and chicken Francaise - both were among the very best we’ve both ever had. The cannolis were also amazing, and I am extremely critical. Service and ambiance were also impeccable.
