Carmine's is a family style restaurant offering exceptional value to its guests through the many dishes of Southern Italian cuisine. Restaurateur Artie Cutler crafted Carmine's with a singular vision; bringing his guests abundant portions and making any meal feel like an Italian American wedding feast.

Platters of made to order pasta, decadent seafood or meat entrees, and of course homemade desserts are all staples at Carmine's, meant for sharing among friends and family. When great food and wine are supported by friendly and knowledgeable service, the results are magic - we want every day to feel like a Sunday afternoon at Grandma's!

We are open for Indoor & Outdoor Dining, Pick-up, Delivery, Catering and Private Parties.

Your safety is our priority. As of 3/7/22, NYC no longer requires proof of vaccination to dine indoors. Indoor & Outdoor dining are available.

Enjoy Carmine's classics catered to the venue of your choice. Our off-premises catering services range from a small drop off and set up for 20 to a full scale, off-premises event for 2000. Our signature dishes, including Carmine’s famous Meatballs, Chicken Parmigiana, Veal Marsala, and Shrimp Scampi, will be delivered right to your door. Carmine's Catering offers one-stop shopping. Our full-service Catering Division offers a professional staff, complete set-up and service, rentals, linens, décor, and venue selection. Catering packages or customized menus available.
Private party facilities
Carmine's second floor offers our New Private space The Sinatra Room and semi-private dining in the Jimmy Durante space; with a mahogany bar, coat check and handicap access. The room seats up to 230 guests. Our plush theatrical drapes are perfect for semi-private dining for smaller groups.

Carmine’s food is always so good. It is one of my favorite restaurants in New York. Bring your appetite. The portions are huge.

Absolutely perfect dining service. Our server was outstanding. As someone who had worked many years in hospitality industry there would be nothing I would consider lacking or in need of change.

The food (baked clams and capellini with white clam sauce) was delicious, as always, although the clams were small and needed more sauce. We had a reservation for a party of 2 and waited almost 20 minutes to be seated while there were numerous open tables and others without reservations were seated before us. The service was only fair, as we waited too long for our iced teas, which were served without lemon, straws or requested sweeteners. We are regulars and shouldn't be treated like this, especially when the restaurant was not as busy as it has been.

The vibe of the restaurant was welcoming and gave a New Orleans feel. The service and staff were welcoming, professional, and accommodating. The food was superb and was presented family style - meaning the portions were HUGE !!
