Rafik Cressaty and his son, Patrick would like to welcome you to their family restaurant, Carbonara Trattoria, located in the heart of Dunwoody, Georgia. Carbonara is an inviting Italian restaurant with an ambiance reminiscent of Italy without sacrificing the southern charm of Atlanta. Warm earth tones, textured wall finishes and soft lighting are complemented by a menu featuring the finest fresh produce and ingredients. From antipasto and salads to fresh pastas and raviolis, quality meats and fresh seafood dishes, our Menu is inspired by the timeless recipes of the old north country. The father and son duo take you on a wonderful dining journey from the moment you walk in the door until the time you leave.

Reservations are not required but recommended. We offer a 15 minute grace period for reservations, if more time is needed please call.

The 5 of us enjoyed a delicious dinner with a wide variety of meals along with great wine in a friendly atmosphere with excellent service from Tony and his colleagues. We'll be back soon.

The food was wonderful. I had the fish specials. Big portions but prices have increased a bit. It was delicious. Server started great but got a bit busy. Still one of my favorite restaurants and great menu.

Despite our Open Table reservation our party of four was seated at a smallish table by a wall and the staff refused to allow us to move to one of several other free tables. Our calamari and fried green tomato appetizers were good but main course veal picatta was tough, hardly veal, and overly lemony. Other main of flounder francese was not francese and was covered in a heavy layer of what resembled some sort of lemon syrup which completely obscured the taste of an expensive piece of nice fish. Service quite good but somewhat slow. All in all an expensive and disappointing evening at a restaurant we have visited frequently before. Not sure what changed, but something has.

Food and service was what you would expect from an upscale restaurant. A little pricey but again, it's an upscale restaurant so what I would expect.

Weekends are really busy. Try to avoid them if possible Only one bartender and he seemed overwhelmed

The server was not good with the flow of the meal. Drinks arrived late, too much time between courses and she wasn’t attentive.

Not sure if something was going on but the crowd was very old. 7:15 reservation so it was early. I would say 80% were older. Not many young people in the place on a Friday night
