   We had a reservation but still had to wait 10-15 minutes. We had a great table and location. I think our servers section was in another part of the restaurant because we hardly saw him and ended up waiting on him many times. Several times we were left waiting for drink refills (including water) for a long time. At one point another server saw me looking around for so long that they eventually came over and asked if we needed anything. The manager spent a long time and multiple times socializing with the table next to us but failed to acknowledge us or notice we needed help and walked right past our empty glasses sitting at the edge of the table multiple times. The server was friendly, but not attentive at all. The food was fine but not great. My husband’s chicken was overcooked and dry. I’ve had good steak from here in the past, but I went with seafood this time and regretted it. The crème brûlée cheesecake with berries was great. As a former server I am pretty understanding and easy on people, but when you’re expecting a $50+ tip you need to make sure your customers aren’t waiting more than 20 minutes for a drink. It means you aren’t monitoring your tables at all. This was New Year’s Eve so I’m hoping service and food quality were low as a result of this, but when you’re spending hundreds of $$ for one meal it needs to be top notch every time. This experience has me hesitant to return anytime soon.

   Terrific New Year's dinner at The Capital Grille: Bijen was a terrific server who expertly knew when to be there and when to not..............food was delicious and pacing was perfect for a busy New Year's evening.................Bijen even contacted the valet to request our car----little things like that make a dinner so much more enjoyable. Thanks for Capital Grille and Bijen for waiting our on booth........................

   As usual food and service was outstanding. A bonus on this visit on 12 -31-2024 was we were fortunate to be served by a very friendly and out going waiter by the name of Kyra who was very entertaining and complemented our dining experience.

   New Years Eve. Very busy but service and food was excellent. Sliced filet with onions and mushrooms was amazing . Attentive and food prep was on time. Highly recommend

   Consistently TERRIFIC! My “FAVE” server is Brian Garner. He knows my likes etc…. but honestly, if he is NOT available, every single replacement is FAB! My Favorite Cincinnati Restaurant…. 😋

   This is the place we go for special occasions and are never disappointed. The service was excellent on a very busy night.
