   Food is I always excellent, as is the service. The only negative is that even with a reservation, we always end up waiting about 30 minutes.

   As always we love dining here. We eat at this restaurant about 3 times a month. We highly recommend you try this restaurant.

   a finer restaurant you will not find.. the food , service and ambiance is outstanding. its a place you know that you’ll have a delicious meal and be treated slways like youre special …. there is not a better restaurant around….

   Yawn dinner was none event ....Reservation set for 8:30 pm. Arrived at 8:15pm and were greeted and told there be about 10 - 15 minute wait before we could be seated as we immediately were being directed to the bar. The decibel level volume of noise coming from the dining room was close to being that of a jet engine. I barely could hear my wife standing beside me. We ordered our drinks, Grey goose on the rocks, only to learn they had none. Readily we asked for instead Belvedere only to be told the same, "they had none". They offered us Kettle one, refused. THen another bartender intervened and established the fact they had reserve bottle of our chosen libation in the cellar. Still standing at the bar 5 minutes later our drinks eventually arrived. By now the hostess arrived asking us if we preferred to be seated in the glass enclosed bar seating area as opposed to the much noisier main dinning room. We accepted and immediately were seated. Wait time for entree preparation was reasonable - +/- 20 minutes. As soon as our entrees arrived, ravioli/tomato sauce and chicken with apples/cranberries and mashed potatoes we quickly both knew both our dishes were not hot, not warm to touch, but more like room temperature. Serving prepared food hot seems to be a chronic shortcoming that plagues many high end north shore restaurants, Testarosa is no exception. Our bill for 4 drinks, 2 entrees, tax and tip came to about $225. I'd think twice before spending this kind of $ coming here again. AS this place was a big dining disappointment, ambient level of noise made table side conversation almost impossible to hear and converse without needless shouting, out of stock beverages, cold food. Need I say more?

   Started with a delicious salad from the specials menu and progressed with an appetizer, a pasta, a main and desert shared by 3 people. Each dish was better than the last and we left fully satisfied. The portions are perfect for sharing and the service was attentive at every step.

   Noise level was super loud and many groups in main dining area that were way too loud ,screaming and carrying on for birthday celebrations . This is fine dining ; not the bar room. We have eaten regularly over the years . Service was quite slow this time and difficult at times to make up for the quality of food provided which is always spot on. Suggestion would be put very large parties in side room . Hope to see you soon again .

   Been going to Testerosa for many years. Food has always been delicious. Many excellent restaurants to choose from on Jericho Turnpike but they have been my main go to. Great place to spend an anniversary.

   If you want, consistent, delicious food, creative menu, great service Café Testarossa is the place, my “go to” ! It never misses, always on point
