Cafe Routier, Bistro and Lounge, serving a three paneled menu format; Regional (a different region of the world every 8 weeks), Seasonal (locally sourced seasonal ingredients) and a specialty menu of classic Bistro fare. A 40 seat lounge serving 'small plates' and tapas adjoins the bar area. Ethos is important to us.

Reservations made online are for our dining room only. Our lounge does not require reservations and works on a first come/first serve approach, so please do not make a reservation if your intent is to sit in the lounge!

Staying at Water's Edge and checked their menu and the one a couple minutes away at Cafe Routier. Lamb Chops for "The Bride" on our 58th Anniversary at the Cafe helped make the choice. The food was excellent ... and yes, she had the lamb chops ... happy, happy. I had the hanger steak that was excellent too. Patty & Victor provided excellent and friendly service. Special place for a special night.

Food very good…except had to return one meal as not cooked the way asked. Service very good. When made reservations on line, was asked if dinner was for a special occasion and I said birthday. Thought perhaps that meant a dessert or something but was asked for no reason. Prices high but portions were good.
