                                                Overall, this NYE dining experience was a pretty big let down considering the cost. The food was not great, small portions and preparation (did not taste good,) and we had a few negative service experiences. For $500 for two people… we expected amazing food and service.

                                                I’ve visited Lurcat a few times and it’s usually a decent experience. There’s been a few hiccups the last two times I’ve been here. This time our service just wasn’t matching the reputation of the restaurant. Our server seemed to be pretty panicked and rushed the whole time. It was shocking that our tables wasn’t cleaned off between courses. Every time we’ve been here they’ve done it. My partner felt embarrassed that we were here with his parents from out of town and it wasn’t the experience we’ve had before. The appetizers and main course was amazing but the dessert was lacking. We ordered the chocolate carrot cake and that was great the the cheesecake was very misleading. It should’ve said on the menu it was cheesecake bites that were closer to a mousse or ice cream.
