Located in the heart of Washington, D.C. within the iconic Willard InterContinental, steps from the National Mall, and across from Pershing Park, a national park home to the new World War I Memorial, Café du Parc is reminiscent of a Parisian-inspired sidewalk café.

Nestled between The White House and the U.S. Capitol, surrounded by the sights and sounds of the nation’s capital, Café du Parc’s seasonal outside terrace remains a trendy locale for al fresco dining by both visitors and Washington, D.C. locals alike.

Paying homage to traditional French cooking, the restaurant offers diners various culinary creations from coffee and pastries at its coffee shop, Le Café, to breakfast, lunch, dinner, and brunch on Sunday on its outside terrace or inside the main dining room. We are pleased to offer parking validation for Valet or Garage parking at Willard InterContinenatal when you join us for dinner.

Café du Parc at The Willard offers a charming atmosphere with an inviting Parisian flair. The food was fresh and expertly prepared, showcasing quality ingredients and attention to detail. The dishes were flavorful and satisfying, making it clear the kitchen takes pride in their craft. However, the service left a little to be desired. While friendly and professional, the pace was notably slow, which detracted slightly from the overall experience. Perhaps it was a busy evening, but a more attentive flow would have elevated the dining experience to match the elegance of the surroundings. Despite the slight delay in service, we had a lovely dinner and enjoyed ourselves. It’s a great spot for a leisurely meal. We were looking for a memorable experience during the holidays which is not what we enjoyed. But it was fine. Cafe Parc has the potential to be a standout dining destination with a little more effort. The Hay Adams would be a better choice for an exceptional experience.

Service felt rushed. Halibut was overcooked but rice pilaf and vegetables were good. The charcuterie board was sad. The meats weren’t that great and the presentation was lacking. The steak was under salted and all around bland. Drinks were very good. The aviation was one of my favorites I’ve had. Wouldn’t recommend.

We went for Christmas lunch, and three in the party ordered the fixed menu and two of us ordered from the menu. I had the onion soup and steak frites. Both were very ordinary and the onion soup was beef broth with a blob of cheese. The biggest disappointment is that we were rushed. Entrees were brought to the table when evident we hadn’t finished the previous course. In stead of coming back, the servers left the new plates on the table. It was very uncomfortable and the food cooked while we were finishing our previous course.

We visited Cafe du Parc for their Christmas Dinner menu. Food was outstanding, the menu was carefully curated and the wine pairing was absolutely the best. The reason I consider this wasn’t a 5 start dinner is our table wasn’t prepared as other, we didn’t have a tablecloth and other tables did. The restroom area of the restaurant was poorly mantained, extra toilet paper on the floor, soap diluted with water, a cardboard box on the floor as a paper bin. Service was good and friendly, I appreciate our server for not hurrying us and for taking his time with us. I hope the restaurant can work on those little details and improvements to make the evening memorable.
