The crawfish ravioli was good but the two eggs and veggies just average.

I have been here many times and usually really enjoyed it. This was not a great experience today. Our server was uninterested and inattentive. We were seated on the patio, which was cold and uncomfortable. My daughter ordered the fish special and the drum was overcooked and almost inedible. My mussels (which I always enjoy) were very fishy and unappealing. My father ordered the hanger steak and specifically requested his egg to be over well and not runny. It came out completely over easy. The waiter never asked if we wanted a refresh on drinks or dessert (which we did!) before placing the check in front of us. We ended up leaving the restaurant and going down the street to Santa Fe to have one last libation and a delicious dessert. I am sad to say that I would not recommend Café Degas after the experience that we had today.

I like Cafe Degas, lately it has been hit or miss. Some of our food was good other, not so good. Service was prompt but we had to ask to have plates and glasses removed when they brought the next course . So the wait staff could be trained a lot better

Taylor our server was nice and engaging for our brunch. Wonderful to have two soups on the menu to choose from on this cold day. The duck cabbage soup was thick and comforting but I will always love the onion soup. Ravioli app...no one does the lemon beurre blanc sauce better than Cafe Degas...we enjoyed the Eggs Benedict, Omelet special and the omg delish grits and grillades...the shared Paris brest rounded out our meal...I love Cafe Degas...it's always a special experience...

I am normally addicted to the hangar steak, but it is so filling that I don't order their wonderful escargot. Today I decided to prioritize the escargot. Saw what looked like wonderful pomme frites and and added those. Main course was the quail over a salad. Exquisite.

A great place for Sunday brunch. Love the Grits and Grillades with Mimosas. The atmosphere is relaxed, neither too dressy nor too casual.
