In the heart of London’s Soho, Cafe Boheme has been serving French classics for over three decades. Offering an all-day menu centred around French favourites, including confit duck, steak frites and escargots – all dishes are based on traditional recipes.

The brasserie is inspired by the 19th-century poets who used to meet on Old Compton Street and features art-lined walls, a brass bar and mosaic tiled floor.

Head outside and dine al fresco for views across Soho or join us at the bar everyday from 3pm for live jazz.

The food was good on the whole but the service was quite average. The waiters were quite abrupt and not particularly warm or welcoming.

When we arrived, we were coldly welcomed by a man and the restaurant was so dark with just candles on that it was hard to see anything really. It took the waiters 20 mins after we had arrived and got drinks to take our food order. The food wasn't that bad but not good value for money. 6 pounds for salad on the side seems pricey. Everyone around us was so noisy that it made that night very unpleasant and we couldn't even hear one of the waiters when he was speaking, we were looking forward to leaving to be honest. Not even a goodbye from the staff when we did or any acknowledgment from them. Overall wouldn't recommend. There are much better French restaurants in London !

Ambience was delightful and romantic. Service was a bit slow and some drink orders got forgotten.

Great location with perfectly Parisian decor and a fairly priced menu full of all your favourite French dishes. Great service and atmosphere and very nice loos! I can highly recommend the bavette washed down with a bottle of Picpoul de Pinet!
