    We enjoyed a relaxed evening dinner. We had the prawn curry and the kedgeree that were both delicious and the pear & ginger pudding was a delightfully warming treat.

    Lovely meal again at Byfords, never fails to deliver, it was very busy hence was probably the reason service was a bit slower than usual.

    Lovely atmosphere. We had the afternoon tea extravaganza and it was faultless. Service was quick and super friendly, we were made to feel welcomed and at ease. The kids loved being able to go and take whatever sweet treats they liked and the savoury options were perfect too. Will definitely be returning for future extravaganzas!!

    Staff where great Setting superb Lovely ambience, I was impressed with the music. Food was lovely, mocha with cream & flake a lovely treat. If you love your sweet treats you’ll love this afternoon tea, they were all great. I loved the ginger bread cheesecake Sausage rolls banging sandwiches delicious Overall a great experience. Loved our table great view

    Yet again another living meal at byfords. This particular meal was to celebrate our 8yr olds birthday. Staff were great as was the food and overall meal. It’s why we come back to Byfords’s time and time again.

    Very cosy and warm setting next to a wood burner, perfect on a cold December day when we visited. The service and the afternoon tea was spot on , probably the best we have had so far in Norfolk.

    Lovely place/venue. Big queue for cafe and a bit chaotic but we had booked so grabbed the waitress who took us to our table. If we hadn’t asked we would have been waiting for ages! Food was really lovely, our table was cozy and quiet, waiter was sweet, no issues. Would go there again.

    A lovely start to the festivities This is the 2nd year we have booked our self’s in for afternoon tea Beautiful to see Holt light up at dusk too

    Extremely poor service from one individual member of staff - had an issue with the champagne glass which we had filled to which no apology and said would check it out - came back with an empty glass with no apology - didn’t say anything and tried to walk off before we shouted her back to get it refilled with what she had clearly thrown away and rinsed the glass out! Very poor I’m afraid
