Lovely setting. Very good food and an attentive and helpful waiter. My only criticism would be the lack of choice of zero alcohol beer! I guess most guests would come by car. We drove from near Wrexham for the visit so needed to drive back on the A55, hence the zero alcohol beer. My wife however enjoyed the wine suggested by our waiter. We’ll be back.

Lovely evening with friends, service was good but maybe more attentive to pouring wine, making sure we had enough water. Little shortbread or similar with coffee would be a nice touch. We have had the fish pie before, which as we loved it ordered again but felt it was bit dry. Choice of green veg would be nice, menu just says mixed veg.

Our visit to Byn Williams Bistro was for a treat on a rare day off. We booked the day before for lunch. The Bistro can be noisy,when full, but it was quiet and the atmosphere great. Service was attentive and very good. Our choice of seafood and lobster was beautifully cooked, with simple unfussy presentation. The quality of produce and cookery was outstanding. We come regularly and are never disappointed but always impressed by the consistent quality and the beautiful produce, such a good showcase for locally produced food.
