We had an incredible dinner at Broussard’s and wanted to share our experience. Ambiance Broussard’s blends elegance and comfort beautifully. The refined yet inviting atmosphere features well-spaced seating for privacy and a relaxed dining experience. The décor is tasteful and uncluttered, embracing timeless sophistication. Every detail, from lighting to furnishings, is thoughtfully curated, and the restaurant is impeccably maintained—clean, organized, and welcoming. Food Our meal started with two fantastic appetizers. My wife enjoyed the Louisiana Blue Crab Cake with ravigote sauce, petit salad, toasted almonds, and ruby grapefruit, while I had the Baked Camembert with red wine compote, spiced pecans, and a toasted baguette—both were outstanding. For entrées, my wife chose the New Orleans Barbecued Shrimp with broccolini, while I had the Filet Mignon Au Poivre with roasted garlic mashed potatoes. My steak was one of the best I’ve ever had. To finish, my wife had the Grand Marnier Crème Brûlée, and I enjoyed the Bananas Foster, both paired perfectly with coffee. An amazing end to a perfect meal. Service From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed. Akira greeted us warmly, and our waiter, Keith, was friendly, attentive, and always smiling, making the evening even more enjoyable. As history enthusiasts, we loved learning about Broussard’s 100+ year legacy from Akira and Kyra, the Assistant General Manager. Their stories about the Broussard family and the restaurant’s history added a special touch to our visit. Broussard’s delivers more than a meal—it provides an unforgettable experience. From the exquisite food to the warm hospitality, every detail is perfect. We’re grateful to the staff for making our evening so special. We highly recommend Broussard’s for an exceptional dining experience in New Orleans.

We went for the jazz brunch and it did not disappoint. Delicious food probably the best we had. The bottomless mimosas were absolutely bottomless. Never saw the bottom of my glass until I didn’t want anymore. Service was exceptional we will go back!

Jazz brunch was fantastic and so much fun! The food was great, we had the breakfast breads, chicken and waffles and 2 of the benedict variations the have. The bottomless mimosas were perfect for our fun brunch!

Great place to grab lunch on Mardi Gras day. Food comes out a little slow but it is delicious and servers very attentive. I can’t really fault them on this holiday with the crazy going on in the FQ. Definitely my favorite place to wrap up a long couple weeks of parades and partying

We come to Broussard's every year for many years to have Lundi Gras brunch. This year was the first time we have ever had such a horrible experience. From the moment we walked in the entire place had the vibe of a ship taking on water. We had a 2:30 reservation. The guy at the host stand explained that tables weren't getting up, and he had no idea when we would be seated. He went so far as to tell us " I don't want to quote you time because I don't want to be wrong". So we bellied up to the bar to have some drinks, one bartender looked at me as she ate from a togo box, never greeted us. A good 10 minutes later a bartender acknowledged us. I ordered two bottles of champagne and some glasses, I figured it would be an easy order and we could sit and have bubbles while we wait and be out of the way as the bar seemed busy. Another 10 minutes pass and our bubbles are on the bar top, glasses down, and the bartender walks away. So I opened the bottle myself and poured it out for our group. An hour and a half after our reservation we are seated. They take our food order quickly as they can see we are all hangry and over the experience. A few minutes later a server comes to take our drink order. He has a visible attitude as he takes our drink order. Our first course of food comes out several minutes later, we finish it, still no drinks on the table. We wait a bit longer, & as we hit the 30 minute mark of being seated without a drink in hand we decide to call it quits. We are all service industry folks and have a lot of patience for the fact that stuff happens. The thing that made it so bad is that there was zero communication from the management or from staff. Every time we asked what was up we were met with exasperation and animosity. So at the 35 minute mark we flagged down a manager and asked if we could just cut our losses and leave, no sooner had we spoken the words, he curtly said "yea y'all can just go." Such a disappointment.

We enjoyed a Mardi Gras breakfast/brunch at Broussard’s. The place is beautiful and was well-decorated, and the staff were pleasant and attentive - reception, beverage and food staff. The food was delicious and there was a nice variety of offerings on the set menu.

Went for brunch during Mardi Gras, the service was lovely, the restaurant was offering a pre-fixe menu due to it being so busy with MG, so I got the Ceasar salad which was good, and the croque madam was delicious. My husband had the beet salad which was also good, and the short rib which was okay. We also shared the cornbread app which was delicious. I wouldn’t necessarily recommend the AYCD Prosecco/rose, unless you’re just going to drink them as mimosas (they offer orange juice, pineapple and cran). Would return, but would wait until it’s the full menu again so we could try other things.
