I have no words to describe how delicious the food was. Every single thing we had was absolutely amazing. Steven was our server and he was an absolute vibe, he made conversation and gave us great recommendations. The bread pudding was outstanding. I MOST DEFINITELY recommend eating here.

Five of us went for dinner last night. Generally disappointing experience from both food and service perspective. Service was poor : long waits for server to come to table; dishes left uncleared until I asked; was never asked if we wanted wine with dinner and had to ask -- wine arrived when we finished starters; had to flag down waitress to get check; multiple mistakes (overcharges) on the check. To be fair, at that point they comped drinks and dessert. Food was mediocre. Both the fish and beef were significantly oversalted. I wasnt expecting a ton, as I assumed this was a touristy overpriced restaurant. We booked because we wanted to try a Reveiilon dinner (but ended up ordering a la carte). Even with modest expectations, Broussard's was very disappointing.

The dinner started out pretty good the two servers we had were very kind though by the end of the meal we were forgotten about and had to ask for the check three times after waiting over 30 minutes for it. We ordered a bottle of wine more than once too because that was also not communicated. The food was ok here not worth the price- it felt kind of like things I could make at home and the extended amount of time we spent here unfortunately made it not worth it. Would not return here again. The meal took over three hours and things took a lot longer than they should have. It’s possible this being a couple days after Christmas it being short staffed but I still wouldn’t come back.

I would 100.000% recommend this place. My first time experience in New Orleans and booked a couple of tourist places to go to. I was with my 16 year old daughter on this trip. I appreciated their customer service I didn’t like the table I was initially taken to but it was not a problem when I asked for another table and they didn’t make it an issue. My waiters working together Lionel and Monique made it the best day for us. Super friendly, efficient and going the extra mile to make us feel at home. I even taught Monique a couple of my native language Xhosa phrases. The trio band was the cherry on top. They performed my song request and were happy to take photos with us. The food was great too.

I haven't been to Broussard's in at least a decade, and, wow, has it gone downhill. Biggest problem was the service. Keet or Keith, simply didn't keep up with the needs of our table of 2. When my husband was done with his soup, his bowl sat in front of him for a bit, as did my empty cocktail glass and his empty water glass. After I pointed out to Keet that all three needed attention, he went from friendly to stiff and almost mad. It was a bit of a cloud on what was supposed to be a special visit. Otherwise, the food was so-so, esp for the price point. I expect a chicken and waffle that blows me away, instead I got dry hunks of white meat only. The waffle was fantastic. My deviled egg appetizer tasted like it had been in the fridge for several days. For his part, my husband enjoyed his turtle soup and Pork Belly Benedict. And the bananas Foster was incredible.

Very wonderful! Staff was so nice and accommodating. We stopped by just for dessert in the evening. Bananas Foster to end the night was lovely.
