   Service was very slow but perhaps it’s on a Christmas Day. We kept asking for bread as they kept forgetting to bring to our table. Then I had to ask about my cocktail drink an hour later when I still have not seen it. The crab cake and Caesar salad look like they have been sitting around for a while when they finally arrived. But our main course made up for all. They were all delicious. We will go back but on a regular day to give it another try.

   We went on Christmas Day and the restaurant was overflowing in part because many other area restaurants were closed. Broussard's food was as wonderful as ever. A real joy. My only suggestion would be that if they are going to open on Christmas (which I totally applaud), they need to staff it MORE not less than usual because the demand is just so high. And, of course, the demand is high because Broussard's is wonderful. Always have the pear tart. Always!

   Christmas dinner was very nice. The service and pace was off because it was Christmas Day and they chose to be open even though it meant they were understaffed. I put up with that and had a wonderful meal with nice wines from a limited by the glass choice. The Crab Cakes rise to the level of "Not to be Missed." I'm happy to see that Broussard's is still one of the "Les Grande Dames" of the French Quarter.

   It was crowded on Christmas Day and we were seated 1/2 hour after reservation time, but that was understandable. It was a special menu for the day, but many options with different proteins and several courses. Servers were attentive, friendly and professional. They worked well as a team. I had delicious scallops and my husband had the pork chops. Both meals were cooked perfectly and were delicious. We shared the pear galette as a dessert which was amazing. The best thing was the coffee which was poured at the table piping hot, strong and not bitter and best of all, the cream came heated with a bit of froth so the coffee stayed hot throughout the last course. I would return just for the perfect coffee at the end. It was an excellent end to our NOLA Christmas visit!

   I wish i would have took pictures, but i was so unhappy i forgot. We waited 45 min past our reservation. Not a big deal if the food was good. The food lacked flavor. We got the oysters broussard for appetizer, it needed salt. I ordered the prime rib, not prime at all, hardle choice meat. Lets say it look and tasted like it was boiled. My wife ordered the bronzed redfish, it was overcooked and dry. The server never asked if the food was ok or how we were doing. We asked for check. I didnt even eat a quater of the prime rib. My wife aye maybe half the fish. The server didnt even ask if we wanted a box or anything. It was a horrible christmas dinner!!!

   My husband and I had Christmas dinner at Broussards and it was fantastic! The service was great, the ambiance was great and the did was excellent!

   Although it Was Christmas, the restaurant was a little under staffed. Service was slow but friendly. Food was delicious.

   Restaurants on Christmas Day are always a gamble. Happy we chose Broussard’s this Christmas! Everyone was trying their best to make it a wonderful experience. From the pleasant greetings to the smiling faces everyone was doing their best to make sure we enjoyed our Christmas lunch. Wonderful experience!
