    Wonderful, dining experience the roasted cauliflower was exceptional as was the stone crab overall, it was one of the best dining experiences that we’ve had in a long time

    The cauliflower app was very tasty, a bit overdone. The artichoke app was so salty that we sent it back. The server did offer to have the kitchen remake it, but we declined. The mussels were very tasty. The seabass was delicious. The service was perfect. We miss our favorite dish, the salmon with Indian style sauce.

    We have eaten lunches and dinners at this location for many years, including private parties and functions. Since it became the Boatyard, service, food and value have greatly deteriorated, especially food and service. The ambiance is great. The noise level is horrific as is true for most restaurants. Not all people are young with great hearing. Our population is aging and many losing hearing. The waiter knew little about the menu items. The ordered items were sloppily presented. For example, the mojito was lime juice and club soda. No indication of a fresh lime or mint in sight. The tuna tacos were a soggy mess in the plate, not even inside the soggy taco. Bad day? Not likely as several meals have been the same. Overly crowded, surprisingly empty for a Sunday lunch. Great location but be prepared to be disappointed. I do not recommend bringing a business customer there that you would like to impress.

    The restaurant called us an hour before our reservation to make sure we were still coming and told us there was a two hour time limit. Once we got to the restaurant, we were told again there is a two hour time limit at the table. I have no idea how they would enforce that rule since all the tables around us outside were there for more than two hours. I would say that the slow service by our waitress didn’t help push us out the door at all. The Bimini bread is amazing. The food, atmosphere and views were all great otherwise.

    Boatyard has been a favourite spot when we are in Fort Lauderdale. However this time our experience was disappointing. We felt very rushed from the moment we sat down. Time and efficiency seemed to be more important to them than our dining experience. Our main entrees arrived when we were still eating our appetizers which we wouldn’t expect at this type of restaurant. Despite our reservation being for 2 hours, we were done eating in an hour - not the dining experience we enjoy. On the positive side the artichoke appetizer is incredibly delicious. We hope they can slow down to improve the overall customer experience.

    This was my first time at this restaurant, along with our friends from out of town. Our server Sean was beyond amazing. The food was delicious and I can’t wait to come back. Great experience overall
