   If I could give zero stars, I would. Certainly last time we’ll be coming here. Service has been consistently poor over the last couple visits but today’s was just unspeakable. After 40 minutes of waiting at the table, still no coffee! Server nowhere to be found. Spoke with the manager who assured she’ll take care of us but 10 mins later, she was also nowhere to be seen. Definitely do not recommend for anyone.

   We go to the boathouse all the time. last night we were there with two other couples.This was the worst experience as of yet. The service was incredibly slow, and the food was mediocre at best. we sat at the table for quite some time before being acknowledged. we all ordered appetizers. Everyone else’s came but ours. We had to wait several minutes for hours to come. It was over an hour after that before we received our entrées. The steak was overcooked and the lobster was like rubber. We are very unsatisfied. Our waiter kept apologizing, but that didn’t help. We had to repeatedly ask for more water, etc.. The restaurant looks short staffed, but that is not our problem. We come and spend good money and expect to have good food and service.

   My family went for Santa brunch, it was awful. The website offered food that was not actually available, what was served was not made to order but previously batch made and cold (even the poached eggs for Benedict’s), Santa’s suit was falling apart and you could see the strings of the beard, and all at $42 a person. We love the Boathouse for their food and service regularly, we will not be participating in any special events again.

   Our server was very polite .....but service was slow....party of 3 we ordered our sparkling water and glasses of wine when we arrived.....25 minutes later they showed up to the table....I did catch the eye of our server as he was handling a group leaving and he mouthed "I'm sorry" which was very much appreciated! We were seen! Food was fabulous...with great recommendations.....even though we were seated on the low level....next to the "keg" room which servers were constantly going in and out of.....The restaurant was not that busy for a Wednesday evening! It was distracting and the air conditioning was on, leaving us cold....eventually the heat kicked in! Thank goodness. Brrrrrrrr.... When it came time to settle the bill...the machine would not accept debit cards....only credit card payments! Our server did try another machine but to no avail,,,,Credit Card only! I understand technology "glitches" but what if your customers do not have credit??? Thanks BoatHouse...will contemplate the 45 minute drive next time

   The food was phenomenal. It was a Monday afternoon so it was a little quiet, but the manager touched our table and our server was very polite and very respectful. We didn’t get any touch backs on how the food was tasting, or how our drinks were tasting, but they were great so nothing to worry about. However, it was my grandmas 75th birthday and when I had booked with OpenTable I mentioned that in our online reservation, as well as to our server. We had a $350 bill and ordered 2 desserts at the end and I was certain I wouldn’t have to bring my own cake or candle because they would be “on it” and aware of the fact we came in for something special. Sadly we were a little disappointed. I work in the industry and we always go above and beyond for our guests when they mention they’re celebrating. Nonetheless, everything was great and we really enjoyed our afternoon.

   Our server Kyle was fast, friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. Not like the first tall lady server with long black dress, she needs To go to the kitchen for an answer for Every single dish we asked. Our chorizo mussels got too many broken shells inside the tiny baby meat. Calamari got too many deep fried vegetables, more than Calamari. It was too salty as well. Melted butter dipped for lobster was too salty. Bellini not same as usual, used to be yellow color slush with swirl of red syrup .. but the one I got was light brown color slush.. by the time, our server gave it to me... I want to refund it... And it's taste different than before.. it's end up.. my hubby drank for me..

   The server was rushing too much , though the restaurant was not full. We ordered the drinks with appetizer first and he rushed us to place the order for dinner mentioning it will take an hour after he places the order and to our surprise he brought the soup which was the part of dinner with drinks n appetizer. Not even giving us time to mingle meet with our guest. Dinner was served which was not hot n glazed fish was too sweet .. did not know whether we were having dinner or dessert!! Though mentioned it was our friends Milestone Anniversary not once he asked or wished the couple to make it a special experience. Truely disappointed!!

    Had a reservation and was directed to our table right away. Sat for 15 minutes with no service. Had to go back to the host desk and explain nicely that a server had not greeted us yet and thought it was out of the ordinary? Never experienced this before. The server came to our table 1 minute after I came back to the table. No acknowledgement or apology for the delay? Food was quick and tasty, wine was good!
