    We came for the Veterans day meal. Great server ... made the dinner enjoyable even though the steak was overcooked even though it looked good. Dry and tough but the sauteed mushrooms and onions helped out. I'll order a more rare steak next time.

    We (2 couples) had a lovely Veteran's Day evening. Our two veterans were served a wonderful complementary meal and treated with the utmost respect. The restaurant was busy but our server was attentive and quick to fill our orders. We had a great experience and appreciated Black Angus for honoring our veterans.

    Black Angus continues to provide cheaper and smaller versions of my previous favorites with each visit, which is why I gave them 1 star for “Value”. For example, the Wagon Wheel Sampler is a favorite appetizer. It is $20.99 and last night, their delicious buffalo chicken fingers have not only turned into chicken little pinkie toes, but it no longer had the delicious, spicy sauce that normally coats it. They had something plain on it instead. Keep going, Black Angus, and you will lose this loyal customer entirely.

    Kayla our waitress was fantastic! She has a winning personality. My husband had a top sirloin steak that was fabulous, and I had the yummy pork chops! We will definitely be back!

    Black Angus has become our favorite place to eat when we want to do something special. I have a lot of food sensitivities and issues, and they always make it perfect for me. Service by Creighton was fantastic. Food was perfect. Highly recommend.

    We have a history with this restaurant going back 20-25 years. It has been a long time since we were here. The menu has significantly more options than our last visit. We always loved the sweet brown bread of the past. On this visit, the bread was drier and not as sweet; yet still enjoyable. The potato soup was always a favorite; this time exceeded expectations. Flavorful with lots of potato chucks and the works. The potato skins were heavy with potato, not just hollowed out skins and very enjoyable. My partner ordered the prime rib. It was cooked to near perfection. The baked potatoes fulfilled expectations. I ordered the ribeye and was not expecting the wonderful melt-in-your-mouth experience. The flavor and texture could be not improved on. It was exceptional. The macaroni and cheese was creamy and wonderful flavor. The bread crumbs on top however; were too salty. Our dessert was the mile high mud pie. It was good, but it seemed it had been out for a while before being served. It was quite soft. Aside from the food, we noticed the restaurant structure has aged. The brown painted ceiling tiles are outdated and gross. The womens' bathroom floor felt sticky like soda. Our server did their job adequately; however, they were not friendly or attentive enough. My partner would have appreciated more frequent refills on his drink. Overall, this meal was one of the best we have had in many years. We have seen the Black Angus locations close in Oregon over the years. We are wonderfully happy that Vancouver is still open and reasonably accessible. WE WILL BE BACK.
