    As always, Chef Richard Tate out did himself, as he and his staff put together a wine-pairing tasting menu that was a veritable taste explosion. From the creamy corn bisque starter, blackened catfish, shrimp & grits, duck & chorizo gumbo right through to the banana creme brulee, every bite was a mouthgasm of delight. Paired with interesting wines presented by a sommelier, this was a wonderful way to spend a few hours on a Wednesday night. Of course, we hung out with co-owner Chris who was taking care of us behind the bar, and we were served impeccably, as usual, by the dashing Matt (ladies, he's ALL sorts of single now!). Listen, if you haven't experienced Bistro Nolah yet, do your tastebuds a favour and get there NOW. You will not be disappointed. Oh, and if brunch is more your thing, their weekend menu is to die for...fried chicken & french toast, anyone? Lordy, I'm already salivating! We can't wait to go back!!

    Today was our first brunch at Bistro Nolah. We are regulars for dinner. As expected the experience and meal were excellent. The menu takes what you know for breakfast and turns it into something new and special. We ordered different dishes so we could try as much as possible. But we of course will go back for more. You must go because this brunch is in a class of its own.

    If you want something a little different for brunch Bistro Nolah is the place. Great menu friendly and efficient service thank you Chris! The food is so good a pure delight.

    Another outstanding meal, with exceptional service at Nolah! Lamb special, brisket, grits, sweet-potato mash, and chocolate torte were all delicious. Service is top notch - polite, professional, gracious - just the best. (Be forewarned it's always noisy though...) Go! Eat. Savour. Enjoy life.

    Très bon restaurant et probablement le meilleur du West island ! Les plats sont excellents généreux le tous dans un présentation soignée. Les serveurs sont vraiment très sympa.

    It was several months since being back. I know the restaurant is not big. The noise level was quite high especially with the music in the background making a little challenging to carry on a conversation. The portions aren't terribly large. She started with the salmon ceviche. She found it slightly too much vinegar. I had a special of the night which was 2 nice size versions of hush puppies. Deep fried and with an aiolo sauce. They were good but hard to discern the actual flavors. Our mains consisted of specials of the night. Hers was a version of Jambalaya with a duck leg Mine was a lamb shank with grits. The mains weren't cheap at 45 and 40 respectively. The biggest thing was for a louisanne style restaurant it lacked the flavors and spices . The waiter did bring us over some home made hot sauce but it was real heat. Eaten multiple times at LA Louisanne in the city. You notice those creole flavors and seasoning. That's what we were expecting. Bread pudding with bourbon caramel sauce was very good. Service was very friendly and efficient. With the prices and for louisanne creole flavors sadly it was a miss.

    Fantastic. Sat at the bar and had great service. Appetizers were good. Two of us had the tuna which was a nice portion and well served. I had the braised beef which was excellent. Great place but reserve well in advance as it has limited inside seating.
