Bistro Niko is a nod to Paris, right in the heart of Buckhead. The modern French fare is authentic & simple, while the affordably priced wine list, exciting cocktails and extensive craft beer list ensure that everyone finds something to suit their tastes. Grand ceilings, art from Paris and a patio that overlooks Peachtree make Bistro Niko at once a destination and a neighborhood restaurant.

Loved it The food and service were exceptional!! The music was a bit too loud for us. I was with an elderly person whose hearing is not great and it was very difficult to have a conversation.

Unacceptable 45 minute wait for a 7:00 pm reservation for four. Followed by DELICIOUS food delivered by a disengaged server with minimal personality Departing was delayed due 20 minutes waiting for a valet Great meal, reasonable prices, enjoyable surrounding but unacceptable entering/departing delays.

First visit to Bistro Nico. I’m a business traveller so usually sit at the bar, which I did here too. Service was a bit rushed, but you’re competing for the bartenders’ attention so it’s almost to be expected. Had the duck confit appetizer and the pork chop entree. Both were to die for. I’m already thinking about my next trip to Atlanta so I can have that again. Food came out quickly too, which is nice. Ambiance was good, Christmas decor is over the top, but not in a bad way. Do the valet parking, it’s much cheaper than self parking. Restaurant is well worth a visit.

Traveling to Atlanta for a conference, booked for lunch and then went back for dinner. One of the best all around restaurants I’ve been to. Food was out of this world, servers were great, the whole experience was well curated. If I lived in Atlanta, I would be there all the time.

We did brunch, with the live music. The menu was fantastic with all kinds of things to order. Service and cocktails were great. The Christmas decorations were magical. I am going back next week with another group because we loved the whole experience so much.

We were told we would have a wait of twenty minutes or more when we arrived at our reservation time. Service was spotty and poor, with long stretches passing without seeing our server. One entree was missing a crucial component, but was rightly comped by the restaurant. Dessert was excellent.

I decided to treat myself to one of the top-rated Atlanta restaurants to start the holiday season and invited a guest to Bistro Nico. When I walked in, I thought I recognized somebody that I knew and asked if I could walk around the restaurant which they said fine, and then we then sat down at our table. I explained to the waiter that I had received an invitation, via email, to join the restaurants celebration and the special $49 per person special celebratory menu. I explained this to the waiter and said I had a gift card to use . We then ordered and I got the fish and asked to switch the string beans to broccoli. The waiter said in a very condescending tone that the French people do not eat broccoli. I stayed quiet but wanted to reply "while I know you are a French restaurant, this is still in Atlanta and I don’t think broccoli is such a big ask, but chose to just stick with the string beans and would not eat them. My guest then ordered and attempted to switch his starch to mashed potatoes to which the waiter said "I don’t understand why you both keep making changes - there are NO substitutions. Period". He then said can I order it and pay for the mashed potatoes and the waiter said fine. At that point the general manager came over to the table, and I was already frustrated because of the no substitutions and asked me to see find the email and how I was going to pay. I explained I get over 1000 emails a week as a self-employed individual and was not going to take up my time finding the email regarding the special, but I did show him the gift card. I was so frustrated by this point that I got up to find another manager, as things were spiraling, and met Sherry. Sherry was very nice, friendly and professional and I said I felt I was being harassed by the other manager and explained the series of events. She understood my position that I was not having a relaxing evening and said she would get a new waiter and just to return to the table and relax. Much to my surpr

The holiday decorations for Christmas really add to the festive mood and authentic Parisian environment. We loved the hundreds of nutcrackers and lights everywhere. The food is always amazing. The French onion soup, the steak frites, and scallops, mix in a fantastic bar with a great selection of French wines. This is the best French restaurant in Atlanta hands down.

My wife was disappointed with the Caesar salad, the lettuce had dark pieces, while the dressing was uninspiring. My Coq Au Vin was just okay. We have had excellent meals here in the past, it’s one of our favorite restaurants in Atlanta. But tonight was not in line with our past experiences.
