   We visited with a group of 7 friends and had an extremely underwhelming experience. When booking. I specifically requested standard seating due to a back problem, but the staff, particularly a disrespectful lady, insisted on seating us at high chairs with ridiculous excuses. The food was less than mediocre, with portions that were embarrassingly small. The steak was edible though. For a total bill of £400, we left hungry and feeling completely let down. The ambiance was also disappointing – it was so loud that we couldn’t even have a proper conversation. We ended up leaving and finding another place, which turned out to be much better. All 7 of us agreed that we wouldn’t return to this chain. Definitely not worth the money or the time.

   Unfortunately the quality has gone down a lot. We paid £39 for a lobster that had no more meat on it than four jumbo shrimp. We had to ask the waitress if we had been given a small size by mistake. We left the restaurant hungry and felt as if we had been scammed. We have been here frequently over many past years, but won't go again. Lobsters dinners were once good here. No longer. Much poorer value than in the past. Chips are extra. You only get a small beer. Cost for two was £110.

   We got the Monday night offer and it did not disappoint! The food was amazing. The corn bread was the best I've tasted in years. Highly recommend.

   Expensive ! And service not particularly great. Greeted on arrival and sat. Drinks and food order taken. Food arrived before the drinks did. We hadn’t finished our food and my wife had put her knives and fork down as we were talking when the waitress tried to take the plate away, without asking, more importantly we were still eating which was clear and I was still holding my cutlery . That was just rude !! Training note, wait until the whole party have finished eating before attempting to remove empties. Plates were taken away once we were finished. Had a hard shake which was amazing !! We asked for the bill which was brought over and you had automatically put a 12.5% service charge on the bill ! For a waiter / waitress doing only what they are paid to do. Did not go the extra mile and it was almost expected this is the normal course of events. This is only the second time I’ve been to this restaurant, 1st time in May and now. Disappointed this time based on the first experience we had.

    I would go to say that this location is a lot better than Canary Wharf, if not in the same standard / staff were efficient and the vibes were on point , food was amazing as per usual, lovely to see the standard of food maintained throughout restaurants!
