   Our reservation was for 8:45. We didn't get to even order our food until around 9:20. Our server disappeared after delivering salads & soup. We kept our eyes out to flag down the server but we didn't even see her walking around the hibachi dinning room. She didn't show back up until the hibachi chef was almost finished. By this time we had been out of drinks for most of the meal and since soup and salad bowls weren't cleared by the server, we had to move our empty dishes to a nearby empty table. After dinner, we waited and waited for the server to return with boxes and the check. Fed up with the lack of service, one of our fellow diners got up and got everyone boxes from the side table herself. Since it was my birthday I was supposed to get ice cream and gave them sing but none of that happened Once home, both my dining companion and I had a severe bought of diahrea from the food.

   Our resso was for 545 on a Wednesday (3/12/25). We got seated and then as we already ordered (15 min later), they decided to seat another party at our table. Had to wait for them to order which was another 15 min. When ordering, we were asked what kind of rice we wanted. Waitress said “Chicken or veggies fried rice”. We (4 of us) ordered chx FR. Our chef was super slow and boring and did not “perform” and we had 2 kids at our table. It was the LONGEST hibachi cooking experience I’ve ever had. Literally didn’t get done cooking until 715. Everything was smothered in butter. Our bill came and I saw we were charged $7/each fried rice. Had the waitress said when we asked about rice options “it comes with white rice but you can up charge to fried rice”, this would have been okay and not a surprise. So we spent $28 on FRIED RICE. It was $233 for 3 adults and 1 kid. There are better and less expensive hibachi places around town that even include fried rice AND noodles. Will never come back here. You may say, “you pay for the experience” but there was none with our chef.

   Our chef was very good. His eight years of experience made it easy for him to cook and entertain the entire table at the same time.

   We had a horrible experience here. Had a reservation at 8:15pm and had to wait an hour to be seated. We were famished so we waited. Big mistake! After being seated we waited and waited and finally 15 minutes the waitress came and took our drink order. After another long wait she finally came back to take our order. We waited again for the chef to come out but it was 10:30pm so we decided to leave. In addition the restaurant was dirty. For the prices they charge I expected more since I’ve been to their other locations. Never again will I patronize that location.

   We arrived at 6:20 and were not seated until 7:15. We ordered drinks 15 minutes later and 2 beers were never brought out when we questioned the waitress she said they ran out. Later we saw other tables receiving the same beer. We waited an additional hour for the chef to arrive at 8:15 started the meal service to find out our grill was the coldest in the restaurant and food was barely cooking and they had no yum yum sauce which is a favorite for our family. Some of our party didn’t even touch their food. The vegetables weren’t cooked and the food was not what we remember of this establishment. At the beginning when the waitress took our order she explained that it was a 6 course meal that included tea and ice cream. This was never offered or brought out. When we asked her about it at the end she said if we would like to wait for it she can bring it out. At this point we were there for 3.5 hours and could not wait any longer so we left. For the price we paid we did not receive the quality of food and service we deserved. My husband also got sick from the fumes at the nearby tables all the smoke was coming straight to him and after 3.5 hours he was unable to eat and sick to his stomach the ventilation was awful. We spoke to the manager upon leaving and he said he would contact us.

   Our server was rude. The location is small. Everybody sits on top of each other. The back is the front. It was just a weird atmosphere and the prices were way too expensive. Osaka is much better. They're more affordable and you get noodles and rice and their server smile

    Came for my 10 year old son’s birthday. The restaurant is not clean. Plates were dirty and a few needed to be subbed out before we could eat. The waitress was clearly scattered. They no longer sing happy birthday? Took three asks to get kids menus (my kids are clearly young enough to need one) I ordered a soda water. She brought one then refilled it the rest of our dinner with plain water. However, I was charged $4 for ONE glass of soda water. The soup was so salty it was as though it was a concentrate and not diluted. The chef took a very long time, and was very messy, quite a few times food was falling off the grill onto the table, and when he was scraping to clean off the surface, chunks would fly off and a few hit us. I asked for hot tea and never got it. I used the restroom and I was disgusted. It was a filthy mess. The staff is messy and disheveled, messy multi colored hair, I mean go off with your personal style but I just don’t know where restaurant standards have gone. The price you pay for a family of 5 (with NO DRINKS except for a $4 soda water and one kid only having rice) being over $200 and I feel like I’m in a dirty Coney Island. I don’t usually give negative reviews, but this was the most disappointing experience we’ve had here in a long time. We have visited lots of other locations who operate with much higher standards. The Troy location has been in a steady decline and has recently turned into a dump and my family and I will not be returning. I will personally be contacting a manager in the morning.
