   Although we had reservations for 8pm, we did not get seated until 9 pm. It was Xmas eve so I guess the holidays can severely impact their schedules.

   Over an hour wait on my reservation and table wasn't working and had to get moved to another table. 3 hours spent in that restaurant

   We had to wait nearly 70 minutes before we were finally seated. The hostesses were uninviting, rude and entitled. Once we finally got sat the experience was good. We had Diego as our chef and he was awesome. Hard to snap back from a terrible experience with checking in for our reservation + having to wait so long but the food was good.

   Had a reservation but waited over an HOUR to be seated. What is the point of having a reservation? Then when we tried to pay with a gift card we purchased this week specifically for this meal, they said that their system was not able to process the payment. We had the receipt for the gift card but they were still unable to apply it. Horrible experience all around

   Benihana is so popular at Christmas time that there's guaranteed to be a wait beyond your reservation time. In my case my reservation was for 6:15 pm but didn't get seated until 7:15 pm. Still I expected this from previous visits here at Christmas time. However, my party really enjoyed the experience and the food so no complaints.

   Our experience was not a great experience as we waited over an hour to be seated even with having reservations and checking 30 min earlier than our scheduled reservation time. Our bar tender acted as though he really didn't want to be bothered. Had it not been for Eddie the gentleman making the sushi who was very interactive with us and Jose for turning to the Lakers game we would have got up and left. We were very fortunate to have had Denise as our waitress who was very ATTENTIVE and ENGAGING and Earl our chef who as well was very ATTENTIVE and ENGAGING with so much personality.
