   We were very disappointed. The restaurant was very smoky inside. Much more than it should have been. Food was decent but I’ve had much better. Service was slow and unprofessional. No soap in ladies bathroom.

   Horrible experience, rude server, and cook called me names in front of my kids, cause I asked for more garlic butter on my food terrible experience never going back again and saying bad words in front of my children

   Filthy dirty really embarrassing to be a Benihana. Stuart Benihana looks as clean as hospital and I would never ever tell anyone about the fort Lauderdale location. Really horrible

   Awful. Had 8:15 reservations and we waited until 9:05pm to get up and finally leave. They had sat another table 20 minutes after we were seated- and they got drinks and service and a chef cooking AFTER us. We asked for a manager who insisted someone was coming. We saw ANOTHER TABLE get seated and served- we were still waiting. At 9:05pm I had enough and walked out, the entire table followed. Paid for drinks- didn’t offer discount for our wait. Extremely rude and unprofessional manager and staff. Never will go back again.

   The dinner was ok nothing extraordinary. I must say what ever they do to their salad dressing need to be in all locations.

   This was my first time visiting, and I was disappointed. The quality of the meat was lacking, and the flavors were uninteresting, especially for such a high-priced fixed menu. After a while, everything started to taste the same. The vegetables were overly greasy and oily, making them unpalatable. I also want to warn others about their happy hour. Although they advertised it, they charged me full price when I ordered drinks. When I received the check, I was shocked to see $96 for just six drinks during happy hour. I will not be returning.

    I made a reservation for my son’s 15th birthday and notified them ahead of time that it was a birthday. The chef that we had could care less. Not very interactive entertaining , or engaging. My understanding is that’s what people go to a Hibachi for…not necessarily the food. I told the manager I wasn’t happy and all he said was they give the chef’s free range to do whatever they want. Not really sure how that addressed my dissatisfaction. I have been to other locations and have a had a much better experience and it wasn’t even for a birthday. For a $500 bill I think deserved more attention paid to my dissatisfaction but that’s not what I got.
