    Wow what a great experience. Our chef Louie is the best chef that has ever cooked for us. The food was on point it was delicious. Our server vanica made sure we always had refills and took great care of us. Thank you again Louie and Vanica I will be asking for this team again. Lopez Family

    We've been going to Benihanas for decades. The last couple of times have been horrible. They are over booking and wait times for reservations are about a hour wait. The bathrooms are filthy. The food is over priced. We were fortunate that we had a good chef and a good server. I will not be going back. They need to clean up their act.

    One parent and two kids: we waited 2.5 hours for food. They kept forgetting over and over so eventually we just got our food from the kitchen like takeout instead of the hibachi. We were there for my 6 year olds birthday. It was comical — had the whole restaurant trying to just get us rice and we still didn’t get that until we’d been there for two hours. $190 later (yes, really) we will not be coming back. 😅

    Words cannot even begin to describe the absolutely miserable experience our family had at Benihana this evening. This was our first visit and last visit to the Benihana location in Broomfield, Colorado to celebrate a birthday. Despite arriving timely at 5 pm, we were not seated at the table until almost 5:30 pm. Another family with kids was seated at the communal table with us at the same time. They were busy tonight and woefully understaffed. The table directly behind us had arrived after us and was almost done with their dinner by the time our hibachi chef (“Louie”) finally arrived, after we all had waited in relatively good spirits after being seated for 1 hour and 15 minutes (I am not exaggerating). He was not in any way apologetic for the delay, made sure that everyone knew that he was having a bad day, and then did not even introduce himself, welcome guests or confirm the orders, as is usually done in our experience. When we made a comment about our excitement for our international visitor to see the show, Louie made a snarky comment to the effect of “If you want a show you are obviously not hungry” (realize that there were 2 sets of kids at the table who had been waiting patiently and they were VERY hungry). My wife reminded him that she had a food allergy to onions, and he then snidely said that he had never heard of anyone with such an issue (essentially mocking her in front of everyone). The rude comments only got worse from there, and though I have never done so before, I got up and announced that our family would be leaving, which we did. On the way out, I asked to speak with the manager (“Guillermo”), who seems like a very reasonable guy. I explained to him what had happened and he was very empathetic and apologetic. I offered that we would pay for the food we had ordered (but were not staying to eat), but he was insistent that he would not take our money – the damage had already been done and there was really nothing further he could do.

    This was a really gross experience. Floors were disgusting, the paint on walls peeling. We sat in the back room that was freezing (they actually brought in a space heater) and the fan didn’t work properly. Chef was fairly unprofessional and just kept dumping butter and oil on the food. We couldn’t leave fast enough

    Very cold felt like air conditioning was on people complaining about it as well waited for a hour after ordering our food some tables even longer chef did not ask what we ordered just started cooking not inter active at all

    We waited 2.5 hours before food started. The wait for our reservation was 45min. Our server did her best but the restaurant has such poor time management it didn’t matter. We saw numerous tables leave before food started due to the wait. Our reservation was at 6:30 and we didn’t leave until 9:45. Overall the wait and time management of this place as a whole as gone down. If there had been continuous service and communication we would have been happy to be there for so long but that was not the case.

    Reservations mean nothing at this restaurant. We arrived 15 minutes before our reservation and was told we would have at least a 1 hour wait. We were told that they overbooked the restaurant. The staff at the reservation desk were rude and gave a did not care attitude.
