   The Back Burner is always a delicious experience! The food is outstanding - we had a crab cake and duck breast for our entree; started with fried Brussels sprouts and ended with whiskey apple bread pudding - can highly recommend. My only suggestion would be to cook the Brussels sprouts a bit longer so they aren’t quite so firm. Our server was attentive but let us take our time. The food came out hot, which is always a plus. You won’t be disappointed dining here.

   Tuesday is Burger night. Great burgers for a good price. We ordered other things as well and everything was good. It's agreat promotion.

   The food was all quite good. The ambience was conservative with a very nice atmosphere: everything appeared precise, exactly where it should be, and spotless. Pleasantly quiet so having a conversation was easy and enjoyable. The service was another story altogether. Our server was too attentive to the point of being overbearing. Halfway through our time there we agreed that it was becoming irritating. At the end the check was dropped off and shortly thereafter the server was back to pick it up, however we were not ready. In a couple minutes he swooped past to clearly check again. Throughout the evening, each time I saw him approach my thought was “Go away and leave us alone.” We were there to enjoy a nice, leisurely Saturday evening birthday dinner, but sadly the server was irritatingly overbearing and we felt extremely rushed & pushed. Not cool, Back Burner.

   The appetizers were amazing. But then our dinner food wasn’t as hot as it should have been. We ordered two appetizers. I’m not rushing to eat so they needed to time out the dinner better and I just felt like our server was nice but could’ve been more informative.  the server next to us told the people what was in the olive oil with the bread my date didn’t try it until they heard that description.  I would much rather have lunch here with friends than a date.

    Always a fun time at the back burner brought a few of my girlfriends and the kids, the food was amazing I got the crab cakes which are to die for. Patrick our server is our favorite he always goes above and beyond to make sure we have the best dining experience! Will be back soon thanks to the chef and everyone in the back and front of house.
