What started out as a casual deli and bakery has evolved into a full-service eatery with menus that feature a variety of traditional and southern-style dishes.     Our waitress, Christina, was SO nice and accommodating. We had a group of diverse pallets and preferences but every single person talked about how delicious their food was the whole night. I personally loved the short ribs, French fries, and collard greens. My cousin said she would “commit a crime to have another one of their biscuits”.

    The food was amazing. The atmosphere was wonderful. The server was not great. We felt like we were bothering him with our existence and he rushed us out too quickly. The gentleman wearing a hat was our waiter. Not the best experience!

    Wonderful dinner experience at B. Matthew’s Eatery! First time diners. We arrived about 1 hour early for our reservation. We sat at the bar and enjoyed cocktails. Our table was ready in 30 minutes and we were seated upstairs. Daughter and I each had the catch of the day, Mahi Mahi which was outstanding. Wife had the short ribs which were awesome! Our server(don’t remember hearing her name) was very attentive and nice. We’ll definitely be back!

    The semolina gnocchi were the best I have ever eaten. The waitress suggested them, saying they were her favorite on the menu. The waitress was upbeat, fun, and attentive. The catch of the day was mahi mahi that my husband tried. He left not a bite on the plate. Next time we go, we will be spending a more leisurely time enjoying our meal.
