    Very pleasant meal. The complimentary starter was welcome. The vegetable accompaniments were excellent.

    The food is excellent and we were offered some complimentary side dishes which was a nice touch. The service was very good but maybe because we were the only customers. I would definitely recommend this restaurant in the hope that it would generate more business for them and in turn help produce a more lively dining experience in future.

    The food was very tasty. The only negative was that the food took a long time to arrive and was then tepid rather than hot. However, the flavours were excellent.

    Axis has become our weekend restaurant of choice even though we have a 40 mile round trip. The service is always exceptional and you are made to feel valued customers. Too many restaurants today take customers for granted. With so many restaurants around Aziz differentiates again through the quality and value for money in the food it serves. We have visited Aziz over many years even when the restaurant was located at Foley Bridge so these attributes are backed with consistency.
