Antico Posto, “The Old Spot”, is an intimate Italian Cafe and Wine Bar carefully hidden in Oakbrook Center Mall. The neighborhood restaurant boasts a warm, and inviting atmosphere combined with simple Italian comfort food. Make yourself comfortable in one of the many booths, or enjoy the private dining space for celebrations and special occasions. House specialties include fresh mozzarella, hand-crafted pasta, brick-oven pizza and house-made gelato. The wine list features more than 30 Italian and domestic selections available by the glass, 1/2 bottle and bottle. The food was outstanding. White fish over mashed potatoes. Brussels sprouts best ever. The tiramisu excellent. And the value during the restaurant week was amazing

Great food and great service on a busy Saturday afternoon! The Restaurant Week menu was impressive - good choices for a good price. The Brussels Sprouts are the best we've ever had!

Antico Posto is a fun, delicious restaurant with delightful Italian fare. The bread and oil mixture to start the meal is amazing! We enjoyed the eggplant parmesan, breaded whitefish and Rigtoni alla vodka. All three entrees were served hot and tasted scrumptious! The tiramasu is next level.

It was restaurant week. For $45.00 a glass of wine, appetizer, entree, and dessert . We had the whipped ricotta, chicken meatballs, and Caesar salad for the appetizers. Gnocchi delecatis and pistachio white fish for entrees. Chocolate bundino cakes and teramasui for dessert all were delicious. Rachel L was a terrific server

We had excellent service, were quickly seated. We enjoyed the beet salad, mushroom/fungi pizza and pasta bolognese, chocolate budino and cappuccino—all were very, very good. Definitely a favorite in Oak Brook!

First day of Restaurant win 2025 and it was moderately crowded, but good ambience. Prix fixe choices were good but the only major disappointment was the Caesar salad with dressing primarily made up of EVO and a slight hint of Parmesan. No anchovy, no croutons, subpar Romain, where’s the Parmesan?no shavings and no flavor. Kind of a shock but we got over it. The Parmesan crusted whitefish was excellent, and the eggplant Parmesan was very good albeit too covered with sauce. Had to separate sauce from eggplant. It was drowning. Server Roberto was great. The whipped risotto and honey served with flatbread was amazing. Please work on your Caesar salad because it is important and needs improving tremendously. Otherwise we had a great evening.
