   We had a family celebration dinner with 7 of us eager to return to Anis for another memorable meal and Anis, as always, did not disappoint. All our favorite dishes were available, along with some new "daily specials." We enjoyed two bottles of very good, and reasonably priced wine, along with some great appetizers. Our server and his helpers were attentive and friendly, but not obtrusive. The ambience is casual, lively, and fairly typical of a bistro in France, so if that's the vibe and experience you're after, you can't go wrong with this Buckhead gem.

   Our waiter was clearly overwhelmed, I don't blame him for the mediocre service. The chairs were narrow and HARD, so uncomfortable that they detracted from our experience. The floor in the patio was uneven and made our chairs pitch forward. The food was good, but the menu seemed very limited for Sunday brunch. I am willing to try again here, but maybe for dinner and definitely not in th patio next time.

   Salmon, mussels, duck, and tortellini were all exquisite and service was well paced. All that excellence was adversely affected by crowd noise level that was beyond annoying. We weren’t interested in hearing the boring shouting at the table of 4 next to us. Come on, folks.

   Bread was not as good, and it was cold. Butter was cold! Thank you for our complimentary dessert. It was delicious!

   Really great food and beautiful "converted" house with ambiance, though a bit cold, probably 'cuz we were seated near a window that was drafty. The service was OK at the beginning but slacked off by the time we ate our main entree. It was a bit of a wait for the server to clear the table and provide us the dessert menu. Other than that, we really loved the asparagus soup, my duck confit was moist and delicious, and the desserts were of course delightful!

   Excellent. Service was a little slow, but they were also very busy. Food was outstanding the place had a terrific vibe. We will be back!

   Our party of six experienced fantastic meals with French influences. I had Loop de Mer (Seabass) served over braised red cabbage and carrots - a revelation. My favorite dish was tartar de tomate, another revelation. Our service was a little slow as it was crazy busy on Saturday night. The tables were very tight and really needed more space. Definitely would return, but maybe on a slower evening.
